Well,everyone has a different opinion, which can cause disagreements. Almost everyone
has had a disagreement once in their life. I vividly remember that after completing 12th
grade, I decided to go abroad for further education because of the lack of good infrastructure in my country and the enormous opportunities available in foreign countries. But my friend suggested that I not go out but rather stay and study in India. He also shared several demerits of studying in a foreign country, for instance, brain drain, expense, cultural difference, and many more. Gradually, it became a screaming match. A wise man jumped into our conversation. After hearing both sides, he suggested that the benefits of studying abroad outweigh its drawbacks. We can take various measures to overcome drawbacks, such as the fact that after completing our education, we can come back to our native country and use our education and skills for the betterment of the country. Later on, the dispute was settled. To conclude,there is nothing wrong with disagreements, but we should try to solve them peacefully.

Q1. How to solve a disagreement peacefully?
People tend to disagree when they don’t understand each other so first, seek to
understand and appreciate. Secondly, to solve a disagreement is to use positive language
and look for similarities, not differences.

Q2. What do you do when you have a disagreement with your parents?
To be honest, I hate conflict of any sort. I am the kind of person who would go and
apologise. I guess through effective communication and boundaries, one can disagree in a
respectful way with parents.

Home is the place where we all want to come back to after a long tiresome day. I do not want to live in a luxurious apartment, but rather a small house with three rooms and a small drawing area with a wide window, opening to the verdant view outside adding a little vintage touch to it. I want the walls bright coloured and a small space for the bookshelf wherein I would collect my all- time favourite novels and books.

Well, the cities today have become such a congested place to breathe, that we can hardly find a place, we can identify as home. So, I really wish my house to be surrounded by the lush green forests in the cradle of mother-nature, alongside a small river or lake, and the transcendental mountain-view followed by a clear blue sky.

Even though the house of my dreams would be very simple, I really want it to be well furnished with all the basic amenities like electricity, gas and clean drinking water. It should contain large windows from where the fresh breeze would flow in and out, while the chirping of birds would serve as a reminder for the fresh start of a new day.

I think living in my dream house would be one of the greatest feelings in the world, and with persistent hard work and dedication, I believe, I would someday be able to enjoy living in it.

Q1. Do most Indian people live in an apartment/house?
Well I think that it depends on person to person, as the older people like to live in a house rather than an apartment, whereas, youngsters nowadays are more inclined towards living in an apartment or flats. It also depends on the land availability of the region. For example, in metropolitan cities like Delhi, it is really difficult to find a piece of land with wide gardens, and so people accommodate themselves in tall apartments due to scarcity of land.

Q2. Do young people in your country like to live with their parents or by themselves?
It is a great question. I strongly believe that youth today wants to have a personal space of its own, rather than living under one roof with their parents. Moreover, since most of the young people have to shift nowadays as part of their studies or job, so they tend to live alone by themselves. Furthermore, today’s generation does not want to be dependent on anyone for managing their life, and thus, in order to feel responsible and able enough to not only gain, but also learn from their experiences, they prefer to live alone.

Childhood is the time when we create memories. There are many memorable events from
my childhood. One of those is a trip to Bhadraj temple. The place was located in the western region of Mussoorie. It was a quaint temple. I visited the place with my parents when I was 12 years old. I vividly remember we reached the destination after a long, hard journey and we hiked a gigantic mountain. we were all fatigued; however, the breathtaking view from the apex of the mountain was worth it. The snow-covered peaks of the great Himalayan range were visible from there. The temple was made out of pure white marble, situated just in the cradle of mother nature, and was a symbol of purity and calmness. Fortunately, the weather conditions became favourable and we experienced snowfall for the first time. My parents and I tasted the essence of authentic garhwali food which included chains and dubuk. We tried to capture as many mesmerising views as we could with our digital camera. The trip was the most memorable event from my childhood because I spent quality time with my parents and created lots of memories

Since my childhood, I have been fond of exploring new places and things especially the solar system, planets, constellations and orions. . I still remember once my grandmother and I were on the terrace and making our beds; and just out of curiousity, I asked her about my late grandpa. I questioned her where he would be or whether he knows that I am grown up now. She smiled and said your grandpa is still up there and he has become a star. Actually, it was a pole star that my grandma was referring to. Because I was a science student, I was way too skeptical but considering her feelings, I kept on listening to her. It’s not just about the legends but I have always wondered that these stars are way too far that even light takes millions of years to reach out to us. In school, I studied about Big Bang Theory and how the life commenced afterwards. It would be really fascinating if I could ever look beyond our galaxy and see if live exists on the rest of the stars too!

Q1. Have you ever watched a movie on planets?

Well, I am a Sci-Fi fan and I have binged tens of movies like Star wars,Gravity, Interstellar which based on stars or parallel universe. In fact, there is one such movie Martian that really changed my perspective and actually showed me there is always a silver line. I mean this guy was left accidentally by the fellow astronauts on the Mars alone. The movie is all about how he survives with the adverse weather or how he grows food there. I think it’s a worth to watch.

Q2. Do you feel students should study about stars?

Why not?! I think the deeper they know about the stars, planets or galaxies, the closer we would be to know if we are or have been the only civilization in this universe. They can get to know about various elements which are not even in our periodic table or about the upcoming threats to our planet. Afterall, our planet is quite wide open up there.
