I explicitly remember watching it with my elder sibling and getting horrified. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the names of the lead protagonist and the director, but I do recall the movie’s name, which is ‘Makdi’.People would not be interested in the movie because of its unusual name however the movie is completely different from what it sounds like, and it would keep viewers hooked to the screen the movie’s plot revolves around twins who fall victim to a witch spell.  The movie is so intriguing that it would be hard for a viewer to predict its upcoming twists and turns. Helping others is one of the ways that people can feel satisfied and can help them meet new people and establish new connections. To be truthful, it is said that performing acts of kindness and helping others boosts one’s mood and makes one more upbeat. By God’s grace, I have been able to serve many individuals since I frequently enjoy helping others. Likewise, I would be sharing a time when I helped a young person. A few days ago, on the way home from work, I stopped by the nearby mall to do some window shopping. Due to the weekend, it was highly crowded. As I was looking over the recent additions, I noticed a young child who appeared perplexed and anxious. I continued to watch him in the hopes that his guardian would show up, but sadly, nobody did. In light of the widespread offences, I felt compelled to step in as I became concerned. I couldn’t leave the child there by himself. I asked about the circumstances and learned that he was with his parents and secretly went to the children’s area. Now that he has lost track of them, I took matters into my own hands and escorted him to the mall’s security office, where his parents were desperately waiting for their child, they were relieved to see their son. They praised me for my assistance and support, the best part was the hug that I welcomed from that naïve soul which made my day.

I first went their with my father when I was ten years old, as the city was new for me. Ever since then, it became more of a daily ritual to go there and sometimes I used to go there alone as well, just so as to enjoy with friends which I made there itself. Every evening at 5.00, I used to go there and play myriad of games with my friends who were mostly residing in the colony. I used to play volleyball, hide and seek and many other sports. Since the park was huge, old people used to stroll around the park, meanwhile young boys play football and basketball.

To be very honest, I have very fond memories attached to my childhood days, and if I ever get a chance to relive those days, I would certainly do that without giving it a second thought. The park is still there and is quite popular among people as everyone goes there to enjoy and play sports.

CUE CARD – Describe an advertisement you do not like.

Speaking -Part 2 (Cue Card)

Describe an advertisement you do not like.

You should say:

    • When did you see it?
    • What it is about?
    • Where you saw it/how you came to know about it?
    • Why you did not like it?
Sample Answer

There are a lot of advertisements which I watch in my daily life. But today I would like to talk about an advertisement which I do not like. It is a face cream, which somehow manages to promote the unreal beauty standards in the society. I saw it for the very first time when I was watching a movie on television and had a short break of five minutes. The cream was named fair and lovely, which sounded really messed up to me, as it convinced many young girls to adopt irrelevant beauty standards in order to seek validation and feel accepted by the society.
I personally did not like it because it was really disturbing for me to watch young girls purchasing it, just so that they can look fairer, depriving them of their natural skin color and adding on to the unrealistic beauty standards. This advertisement somehow promotes the idea of perfect beauty, which ofcourse is a myth.

Therefore, this is an advertisement I do not like and support.
