Answer – Watching television is a common way for people to relax and spend their leisure time. Among all the programmes I have watched, my favourite TV program is the series
Friends. It is a famous American sitcom that tells the story of six friends living in New York
City and going through different stages of adulthood together. The show focuses on their
friendships, careers, relationships, and everyday ups and downs, all shown in a very light-hearted and humorous way.
I used to watch this programme very regularly, almost every day, especially during my free time in the evening. It became a kind of habit for me, and even now I still enjoy rewatching some episodes whenever I feel stressed or bored. It always manages to lift my mood.
This programme is my favourite because it presents the importance of friendship in adult life. The characters are very different from each other, yet they share a strong bond and always support one another in difficult situations. This makes the show feel very real and relatable.
Moreover, the humour is simple and natural, and the dialogues are quite memorable. At the same time, it also touches on deeper emotions like love, loneliness, and personal growth.
Overall, I believe it is a timeless TV show that continues to connect with audiences of all ages, and that is why it remains my favourite programme.

Today I’d like to talk about a movie I watched recently. Its name was Summer Strike. I watched it last weekend at home on my laptop.

The story revolves around a young woman who feels completely exhausted by her fast-paced and stressful life in the city. At a certain point, she makes a bold decision to leave everything behind and move to a quiet, rural village. Her intention is very simple; she wants to take a break from life and do absolutely nothing for a while. After moving there, she spends her time alone, slowly adjusting to a slower lifestyle and trying to heal from her past experiences. The movie mainly focuses on peaceful living, emotional healing, and taking a break from a fast-paced life.

I really liked this movie because it gave me a very calm and peaceful feeling. The slow pace of the story and the beautiful village scenes made me feel relaxed. There was no loud action or heavy drama, which I found very refreshing. The simple idea that it’s okay to take a pause in life and take care of your mental health really connected with me.

I enjoyed it because it reminded me that happiness doesn’t always come from being busy or successful but sometimes from slowing down and enjoying small moments.

Answer –

A popular tradition which is widely practiced in my country is preparing homemade food during special festivals, such as Holi and Diwali, which are celebrated in March and October. During this time families get together, and everyone contributes in their own way, like some members bring ingredients, others take part in cooking, and some play music in the background which creates a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. What makes it more interesting is that it is not just about cooking, it is more of a shared activity.

Personally, I really value this tradition because it feels warm and authentic because this practice brings us back to our roots and creates a meaningful connection. It is not just about eating the food, but also about the whole experience of making it. This is because every family has its own unique way of preparing dishes, whether it is a slight variation in ingredients or a particular method and these are not written down but learned through observation and experience. It also strengthens family bonds, because cooking together naturally leads to conversations and shared moments.

To me, this tradition is special and I ensure that I participate whenever possible, and I also feel that this practice is slowly fading, especially among younger people, due to their busy lifestyles. With the growing reliance on convenience food and hectic schedules, many people simply do not have the time to engage in such traditions. As a result, these practices are no longer experienced in the same depth and the level of involvement is gradually declining.

Overall, this tradition is not only about making food but also about togetherness, emotional connection, and preserving a meaningful way of life. In order to preserve it, families can make a conscious effort to involve younger generations in the process, and encourage them to learn recipes, and create opportunities to cook together during special occasions. Even small steps like sharing family recipes or dedicating time to such activities can help ensure that this tradition continues to thrive in the future.
