A quiet place where you like to spend time.

Sample Answer

It is important to spend time in quiet places in the fast-paced life of today. There are a few quiet places around us that we can visit for a few relaxing moments of peace. I would like to talk about a place where I go quite often and I find great comfort in the silence the spot has to offer.

The place I am referring to is a hill next to a shallow stream near my locality. I live in Dehradun which has many such places but they are populated by tourists. This place that I visit is not a tourist attraction and is also not connected to any main roads. In all my time going there I have never seen much people except for the occasional villager passing through. I go there every weekend to enjoy the serenity of the stream, the grassy land, and the hills that tower in front of it. I go there as I like to be surrounded by nature and I can do that there without any unwanted noises.

As soon as I reach this place, I am wrapped in a blanket of calmness and it helps me rejuvenate. I go there because I like writing and the area somehow enhances my creativity to the point where thoughts flow freely and clearly in my mind. I really like going to this location with my writing pad all alone, and write whatever I feel like for hours on end. The time spent there is quality time as I am disturbed by no one, and there is no noise to interrupt my mind.

Something you own that you would like to replace

Change is an important part of our lives. We all buy things or replace old objects for new ones. I have many possessions, some are old and some are new. I keep updating the products that I use with the newer ones present in the market. The next thing that I plan to replace is my motorcycle. As I am a traveler and take long road trips on my motorcycle I wish to own a full-fledged cruiser.

My current motorcycle is a Bajaj Avenger which I had purchased in January 2017. It is a cruiser and is two years old now. I want to replace it due to many reasons. This motorcycle is devoid of various safety features available in all the other bikes being sold in the market. Its mileage has decreased considerably, and the lower performance makes it an annoyance using it as my daily commute vehicle. My needs have changed with time and I wish to move on to something newer and better. I have an emotional connection with my Avenger, but as all journeys come to an end, this one will too.

It has been a dream to own a bigger motorcycle like a Harley Davidson. Hence, I have planned to replace this bike with a Harley Davidson that would suit my needs and requirements in the best way possible.

Sample Answer

The world is advancing at a very fast pace and there are a lot of new jobs coming up each day. Some involve normal office duties while others are more unique and interesting. I have garnered a lot of experience working in various fields at different positions in with a few organizations. However, the job that I find to be the most interesting is the profession of being a flight steward.

Flight stewards are people who supervise in-flight services and serve passengers during air travel. They fly in airplanes and take care of various roles and responsibilities assigned to them. Their tasks range from maintaining the flight decorum and taking care of safety, to serving the passengers and fulfilling their needs. They keep an eye over every activity happening in the flight. They are responsible for the well-being of the passengers and are in charge of security as well.

I really think that it is a very enticing job as it involves a lot of flying and traveling to a plethora of destinations around the world. Apart from this, air stewards get to meet many new people each day and have memorable conversations with them. They are trained to the highest standards of customer services and have sharp and charismatic personalities with loads of skill sets that range from excellent communication skills to tactful thinking. If I get an opportunity, I would avail it to become an air steward.

A time when you helped someone with their work or studies.

Sample Answer

Helping others and caring for them is a noble gesture and reflects one’s humanity. I have helped many people in my life with various things. I think it to be the best thing that I can do to give back to the world and make it a better place to live.

One such time was when I helped a small child with his studies, specifically his exam preparations. When I was in the tenth standard, our maid brought her son along with her so that she could keep an eye on him while he studied. He was in the fifth standard and was a weak student causing his mother to be worried about him. I called him up to my study table and looked at his books. With her permission, I sat down to guide him through his course material, one subject after the other. After two hours, we both were tired and I asked him to come to me daily from the next day. His mid-term examinations were due in a month and I decided to tutor him for two hours each day till then. I followed a set timetable dedicating time to each subject. I taught him all the important chapters, cleared his doubts, and gave him homework and a lot of questions for his practice.

He slowly and steadily gained confidence and performed well in his exams. All I did was to help him become focused and practice to become adept at learning and answering questions. He thanked me a lot and I was glad that I could help him with his studies.
