We all are born individuals, but it is the people we associate ourselves with and the ones we want to be with, define what we become. However, there are people who no matter get associated with any number of people, are known for what they are and what they did. These are known to be individuals and it is often asked to maintain individuality no matter who you get associated with it. Let us today, have a look at some of the questions related to individuality.
What do you think makes you unique?
I am not very sure of it, but I think the desire in me to be successful makes me unique. I don’t know why but I want to be successful and for me, success means becoming what I am meant to be. There are so many people with such great innate talents but somehow they get lost. I want to find out my innate talent, find out the reason why I am born and do what I am best at, the best in the world.
Is it okay to look different from other people or should you look the same as other people?
In my opinion, it shouldn’t be a matter of concern as to whether you look like someone or not. I think the main focus of an individual should always be on looking like the way they think they should look like. Not following any trend, but just following their heart and wearing something that makes them feel proud or comfortable or for that matter something that represents themselves. And when one does it like that, they do look different, more importantly unique.
What do you think when you see someone who looks very different?
It depends. There are people who look different in a very hilarious way while there are even who just start a trend with their looks. But, no matter what, when I see someone who looks different I tend to admire them. Because, these are the people, who often instead of trying to fit it, try to carve out new ways. And in my opinion, it takes a lot of courage to do something that not everyone is doing.
If you went to a job interview with green hair, what do you think would happen?
Going for a corporate interview, most probably I would be thrown out. But I think if I go out for a fashion magazine interview or maybe some job where there is a lot of creativity and funkiness required. Like maybe a cartoonist or a writer or a painter or maybe musician, there are lot many chances that I get selected.
If you see someone with a lot of tattoos what do you think of them?
Tattoos have rarely been something that helps me decide the character or opinion of the other person. The only thing that comes to my mind when I see someone with tattoos is that maybe the person has some connection with the tattoo, either they like it or it is something they want to be like.
If you had to change your hair color, what color would you change it to?
I would love to have some part of my hair colored red. I think red is some color that brings with it a lot of funkiness as well as power when used on hairs. Other than that, I think I can even go for a violet because it makes you look a different and yet not completely out of the box.
Have you ever felt like a square peg in a round hole?
No, I think for some reasons, I am just like everyone else. I have got dreams and I am trying to fulfill them like so many other individuals out there. Maybe I am a little more fearless, a little more passionate, but I still hold the opinion that I am just like everyone, with the same issues and same confusions. However, I have been told many a time that I am different.
What are some things you do to blend in?
Blending incomes very natural to me. It is not something I try to be, I think if one tries to simply listen to the other person and understand his or her opinion and situation and makes an attempt to accept the other person, one naturally blends in.
If you had to do one crazy thing to your appearance what would you do?
I would shave off my hair. In my country, hair for a girl is said to be the most important thing and I want to break that opinion. I want people to look at a girl apart from her physical appearance, judge her on her abilities.
If you got a tattoo, what would it be?
If I ever get a tattoo, it will surely be a tattoo of flying birds because I myself want to be like a bird. Free, doing what she wants to. The bird is that one creature who can simply take of her wings and go to wherever she wants. She is fearless, unaware of the ground because she knows that the sky is all hers.
