I believe that typing on a computer is the one practical skill that has helped me a lot in the career. I have chosen computer and even in the daily things that I do. My father got us a computer when we were very young and he taught us to type using our both hands. There used to be times when he would dictate me the lessons so that I could understand the lesson as well as improve my typing speed.

There were times, when I would just type for a novel or may be an article in my summer holidays. I might not be the world record holder for the fastest typing but I think I type pretty fast, with minimal errors. Being a software engineer, I think, it is really important for me to be able to type fast. I am not worried about typing the code, but as soon as the code comes to my mind, I go about and type it. This practical skill makes coding all the more fun. Even more, being a freelance blogger, there are times when I have to juggle between both my jobs. It is because of my typing speed that I am able to put down more articles giving me room for some relaxation.

I can definitely say, that typing is that one thing that has actually helped in my life, be it in the IT field or the freelancing thing. It is because of a good typing speed that I am not frustrated over the wrong stuff that gets put up in the computer, the only thing that I need to worry is my work.

We are living in digital world and the one thing I believe has truly helped in leading life is my knowledge of the office suite. So, be it Macintosh or Windows, I am pretty good at the office suite of Microsoft. There are times when I need to prepare presentation on certain things and then days when I need to prepare some other kinds of documents. When that happens, it never is a big deal for me.

I remember my father got us a computer when we were young and my mother was doing a course on Computer Science, so she was learning things like Unix, Powerpoint, Word, C, C++ and out of other languages she taught us very well how to make presentations and documents. So, at the age of 10 or 12 I could make pretty good presentations and that with time has improved.

I think it has truly been very helpful, taken in consideration my career in a software company where you need to make presentations or edit some documents every now and then. Having the skills to make presentations has allowed me to make formal presentations right from the start of my career. It has even helped me get lot of opportunities which might have been skipped other wise.

Sample Answer One

There have been many letters that I have written which too an extent have shaped my life but I remember writing a letter to a friend I drifted apart after some misunderstandings. For a very long time, I wanted to know the reasons behind the things that happened in between us and why we tried to do the things that we did.
It was almost frustrating and annoying and after three years I gathered all the courage and wrote to him.

I told him about how I felt about our relation and what irritated me and how I felt after it all was over. The entire journey of three years, I penned it down, hoping for some explanation on his behalf as to why he did what he did. But, for my shock or surprise, he simply told me that he has forgotten everything and even if something had happen in the past, it is all over and there is no specific reason behind it.

I was shattered in the beginning because I truly had to think a lot before I could just pen down everything and instead of giving me any explanation he simply sided away. The reason the letter was very important for me because I could finally move on with my life and there were so many things that I learnt. One of them being that there is no point being silent in a relation and then you have to make sure that the first person to respect you and love you is you and you are responsible for whatever happens to you.

I believe had I not written the letter, I wont have ever gathered the will power to move on with my life and make something good out of it.

Sample Answer Two

There have been so many letters that I have written in my life, both at personal and professional level. But, the one letter that I regard as truly important for me and the one which actually helped me shape my career is my resignation letter.

I remember working for a multi national company for about a year and it was during that time that I realized that this job is not giving me any fun and excitement to live about. There is a fixed salary that I get and there is nothing much more than that. No targets to meet and nothing exciting.

There is no work pressure and the feeling of getting things done, because you are working as a team and it is more about collective, so neither the praise nor the punishment comes to individual and I think in some ways it takes away the individuality from the person.

The reason the letter is very important for me is because I had to think lot of times and it was after I had written around 3 resignation letters that I finally decided that I want to do something else with my life. It was a great experience in that company but what was great was to be able to end the journey at the right time. So, I had to fight with my friends and family and the people who care for me the most and then do something that is best for me.

It was after that letter that I realized that I do have lot of courage and can do whatever I want to in my life.

SAMPLE ANSWER – One

I am a very high tempered person, so it is mostly me who goes about say things and has to apologize for it. There was this one such fight that I had with my friend and asked him to just get lost. I do realized that I was very rude this time and went to him to apologize and he simply asked me to forget about the friendship. It was truly a shock for me and for next few days I tried to convince him about my action but it seemed to me that he had a valid point. I am too an extent an idiot in that sense.

So, we just stopped talking. But, after few days of not talking, he came back and apologized for his words. He said that he felt bad and was tired of our frequent fights and the entire frustration went out on that day. I remember feeling really good because it simply meant that we would be able to talk again and have the fun that we used to have.

After his apologies, I did told him that I agree with his point, of me being hyperactive and there are certain things that I need to change in my characteristics. With that apology, a new level of understanding arrived in both of us, making him the best of my friends I ever made in my life.

SAMPLE ANSWER – Two

When it comes to confronting what I feel, I am a very shy person. So, whenever there is something that I really don’t like or get hurt by it, I tend to keep quiet about it and let the relation roll as it was. However, in most cases it so happens that I end up losing the relation.

But, I remember having a friend with whom I had a relation of enemy friend. So, we used to fight a lot, irritate each other, insult each other and then there were times when things got really bad. As usual I never said anything, but with time, started distancing from him. I think he was the first person to realize the distance and came to me to talk about it. So, there was no intention of apology but a deep desire to keep the friendship alive.

We talked and told the issues that we both had been feeling. So, it was not only me who was hurt but he as well. We sorted out our issues and had some really good years together. Although, now he is miles apart from me, but there are times when we talk to each other and revive the lovely time that we spend together.

Watching TV is my favourite pastime. Even though I am an adolescent, my preferences still tend to lean towards cartoons and animated shows. Today, I’m going to talk about an animated TV show I love. It is called My Little Pony (MLP). This show is about a pony named Twilight Sparkle who is introduced to us as an exceptionally studious and workaholic character. Along with her friends she goes on to becoming a protector of Equestria through the magic of friendship. As the show only airs on Sundays, I tend to watch it weekly.
The programme is oddly enjoyable due to the fact that it has a deep character study and simply because it is immensely imaginative. It hoists a surprisingly large fandom of mostly males aged 15 and above which is ironic as it was created for girls up to 15. The show is known for its plot twists and humour and especially the breaking of the fifth dimension. Another appealing aspect of the show is its amazing capability of inspiration making the fandom dominate several huge web galleries. As odd as it may sound, the fandom creation of products makes the show even more enticing and debatable. So, as you can guess, I always look forward to a Sunday.
