Letter For IELTS # Loss Of ID

You should spend 20 minutes on this task.

You have lost your student identification card. This has caused some problems for you.
Write a letter to the director of student services. In your letter,
-advise them of your situation
-explain how it is affecting you
-request a new card

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing in regards to the loss of my student identification card, without which I am facing issues.
I bring my identification card daily and is usually tied to the belt of my paint. But a few days back I noticed it wasn’t there. Even after looking at all the possible places and even complaining at lost and found, I have come to a conclusion, that it might have got lost while I was driving my bike.

Without an ID I am not able to issue any book from library. Even more, to return the books I do require a student ID, failure to produce which the books are not returned. This has caused me a fine of Rs. 100 till date. The absence of ID especially causes issues when there is an event in the college, taking part in which requires my ID.
I am in an urgent need of a new identification card. Although I know that it takes approximately 30 days, I would be grateful if you could issue it earlier. (177 Words)

Restaurant Worth Visiting # Letter For IELTS

You should spend 20 minutes on this task.
You have recently had a good meal in a local restaurant with your family.
Write a letter to your local newspaper and say
– Describe the restaurant.
– What meal did you have there?
– Why do you think this restaurant is worth visiting?
Write at least 150 words.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing in regard with the excellent services provided by a restaurant I visited recently with my family. We had a dinner there and were amazed at how fantastic the services were and how less the customers.
The restaurant is located in the east of the city, near the Madonna hotel. It provides great ambiance with lovely food. The customers have the choice of whether they would like to have their food served on table inside a room or outside just below the sky.  Even more, they allow having food on bed, both inside and outside. This fantastic option is available with a choice of watching movies along with.
Along side the great facilities, the servicing is fantastic and rarely is one irritated by the fuss of waiting long for something. We ordered dinner and were spell bound by its taste.
Although this restaurant is great, there are not many customers, may be because of lack of awareness about it.
If an article about it is issued in your prestigious paper, I think it will be great for both the restaurant and customers like us.

Training Classes # Letter For IELTS

You must spend 20 minutes on this task.
Write a letter to your instructor at the local sports centre and say that you are unable to continue training classes. Include the following information in your letter:
– Which class were you in?
– Why can’t you continue?
– What did you like about the classes there?
Write at least 150 words.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my concern about my inability to continue the training classes that I have been taking for past two weeks.I joined the training center on 3rd of this month and have been coming regularly in the morning batch from 8 to 10.
I have found myself in this unpleasant situation for a reason. My company has decided to transfer me to Australia for a three month shoot where I will be hosting a travel show. It requires me to immediately  shift my base and move there. Leaving this life time opportunity is not something I would prefer to do and it makes coming for classes not feasible.
I really enjoyed my time being there and the environment you provide for exercising is truly phenomenal. I have never been mentally tired of working out no matter how much the body was emaciated.
I have already paid the fee for three month because I thought I would be here. It would be very kind of you if you could return my remaining balance.

Sorry For Absence # Letter For IELTS

You have 20 minutes for this task.

Your friend is coming over to stay with you. However, you will be away on work for three month. Write him/her a letter and say:

– How to get the keys to your flat
– How to operate the equipment in the flat, and
– Suggest a few places of interest to visit

You should write at least 150 words.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Susan,

Hope this finds you well. I was very happy when I received your letter. We haven’t seen each other for a long time and I was very much looking forward to spending time with you. But, I was told recently that I am being transferred to Australia for three months for shooting the life of Australians. I cannot refuse it because it is my dream project. But don’t worry I have made the arrangements for your visit.

When you reach here, contact Anish, a good friend of mine on  4444556214. He has offered his help and will pick you up from the airport and you can then collect the keys from him. There are no major issues in the house and I have already paid the bills, so you don’t need to worry. The LPG comes every 10th of month in morning and the money and card for it are kept under cover of fridge. You can use the geaser but please make sure you switch it off after use or else electricity will shut down.

You will find the keys of car and bike on table when you reach there. Feel free to use them. If you have time you might enjoy the beach outside. There are night parties every Saturday. I hope you are happy with this arrangement, but if you need more help or information please let me know.
