An ideal essay should contain all the required information asked in the question topic. IELTS Essay must be at least 250 words.

1) Introduction

An ideal introduction should have only 3 to 4 sentences. Many students make mistake in the introduction and they start discussing about the whole idea of essay in the introduction part. In this paragraph, we generally try to give the introduction of the topic and our inputs about the topic that we will be discussing in the body paragraph. You can follow the below steps for writing an introduction.

1st Statement: A general statement about the question

2nd Statement: Rewrite the question in your own language.

3rd Statement: Thesis statement

2) Body Paragraph

A body paragraph can have two or three separate paragraphs as per the content. One has to keep in mind that for one idea we make one paragraph. An ideal discussion should concentrate on one idea thoroughly and for another idea there should be a separate paragraph.

For example, if we are discussing the pros and cons of Computers, all the benefits should be in one part of the body paragraph and drawbacks should be in another paragraph.

3) Conclusion

In the conclusion part of the essay, we just give the overall idea of our writing by summarizing the main points. We preferably do not require to write more than 3 to 4 sentences. Avoid using any new additional point or example. Essay tips find here..

IELTS Writing Task 2 # Entry for Museums

Museums are that part of the country that showcase the past or the scientific or artistic nature of the things. Although, there are different variations of museums, some of them charge entry fees while others do not. In this writing task, we are looking at a sample answer, which weighs the advantages and disadvantages of charging people for museums.

Many museums charge for admission while others are free.

Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages?

SAMPLE ANSWER

Some museums are chargeable on entry for individuals. Although, there are some questions on this rule, in my opinion, the drawbacks for entrance are eclipsed by its benefits. The income can be ploughed back into operation and development of the museums.

The major disadvantage of entry fee for museum is a possibility of reducing the number of visitors. Most individuals are not very enthusiastic about entering into museums, charging fee might reduce the interest even further. In addition, museums are a great way of showing the culture to the poor, who often are not able to attend schools. Putting an entry fee limits the education that a country can provide to its economically backward individuals.

Granted an admission, might have a negative impact on the number of people visiting, but it surely uplifts the people maintaining and operating the museums. Museums feature educational exhibitions at times, and this could not have been done without a sum of money expended on hiring professionals and buying equipment. Even more, there are a lot of people employed within museums. Providing salary to them can only be possible if Museums have certain funding.

In conclusion, the disadvantages of an admission fee for the museums overcome the free entry considering all aspects of the development of museums.

Further, people can set some rules in family, for instance, every member should talk to each other and discuss how they spend their days. Finally, those who spend maximum time at home, they can be the part of any social or cultural group where they can indulge in creative activities like painting, music and arts and crafts.

IELTS Essay Sample Answer # Creativity Skills

Creativity is something that changes so many things for people. The way they do things is often different from the way other people present them. This time we are looking at an IELTS essay that talks about how doing enjoyable activities with children often increases the creativity among individuals. You should write at least 250 words.

Doing an enjoyable activity with a child can develop better skills and more creativity than reading. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Use reasons and specific examples to explain your answer.

You should write at least 250 words.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Parents throughout the world spend time reading with their offspring to prepare them for school where there literacy rates are developed. However, recent research has suggested that focusing on reading at young age can be detrimental and participating in fun activities can be far more beneficial. In my opinion, the later surely has better effect on creativity than the former.

Reading in itself has no biological age and pushing infants to acquire a skill before they are ready for it, could have detrimental effects on their growth. For instance, when kids are forced to read when they have interest in other things, often leads to they getting reluctant towards reading. However, when children are allowed to take interest in hobbies like arts, literature and games, they often take interest in reading when time does arrive. Through playing, youngsters, develop social and cognitive skills, for example, they are more likely to learn vocabulary through context rather than learning it from book.

In addition, playing is often regarded as something that allows youngsters to mature emotionally and gain self confidence. There are many countries all over the world, who focus on the early years of a child to development of other cognitive skills, and have shown adults who got interested in reading more.

Overall, reading does help the child in many ways but forcing its way to their lives might not be the best approach. Instead, development of overall personality must be the focus in earlier days of children.
