You should write at least 250 words.

SAMPLE ANSWER

The world is changing at a rapid pace and thus the difference between people born in different times is inevitable. Individuals with a mere difference of few years tend to sometimes have completely different opinions. This clash often leads people to come in the denial mode. Most people believe that the younger generation has been given a lot of freedom and they rarely listen to the elder people’s advice.

Millenials as we know they are independent individuals with access to the world that happens at a click of a button. With knowledge at their hand, they have become more enlightened of the things of past, which they disagree with. For instance, a person believing that a woman should be allowed to work outside, will less likely to listen to someone who disagrees with it.

Even more, most of the younger people tend to have an entrepreneurial mind while older generation was more loyal towards a single employer. So, when the elder generation tries stopping them or advises them, they often go into the denial mode.

The human race is constantly evolving and there is a change in the ideologies of people belonging to different generations. It is only through understanding the changes and the present scenarios can generations be able to share their experiences and creativity.

Dear Radhika Ma’am,

It has been almost two months since I joined the Public speaking course and have been benefiting from it in leaps and bounds. Not only does the course helps me in giving good speeches, it also helps me to communicate better with people. It was with the help of this course that I have got selected in an MNC and would be moving for the job next week.

It will, therefore, be not possible for me to continue with the course. However, it has been a learning experience and I have learned not only English speaking but so many other facets of the language from you. You helped me become more confident on stage and I can now give a 15-minute talk easily on stage. The books and the material that you provided is a lifelong treasure.

Hope to be in touch online.

You should spend 20 minutes on this task.

You went to a museum with your elderly friend last week. However, he/she found it difficult to walk around the museum. Write a letter to the manager and say :

  • whom did you visit the museum with?
  • what problems/inconveniences did he/she face?
  • also, suggest solutions to enhance the museum visit experience for an elderly person.

Write at least 150 words.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Dear Sir/Madam,
We have been living in the city for quite a long time and your museum has been the must go place for our family members in every month. So, when my friend’s grandfather visited our city, we brought him along with us to visit the museum. Initially, he was very content with the feel of the place but got irritated because there were no places to sit. We felt an urgent need for more places to sit in the museum.

The second time he looked at us with pleading eyes was when we were having lunch at the museum. The food items were good for us, but they were a bit too oily for my grandfather. After six hours of visit, he felt tired and hungry. Had there been some fruits and juice center, it would have helped a lot.

The concerns might seem bit obvious but when interacting with other elderly people, I found similar feedbacks. Your museum has a good reputation in general, I hope these suggestions will help you in improving the experience of the museum.
