Answer: Health is paramount to all of us, and I make it a point to include physical activities in my daily routine as a way to stay healthy. It has become an essential part of my lifestyle. It has been about three years since I started working out, and that decision really helped in improving my overall health and fitness levels. At first, I used to do home workouts, but I often struggled with consistency and motivation. There were too many distractions, and I would easily skip sessions. Then, I decided to join the gym and usually go around five times a week, mostly in the morning. I primarily focus on strength training. Over time, I’ve realised that strength training is not just about building muscle; it also plays an important role in improving bone density, which is extremely important in the long run. Because of this, I feel more energetic, active and confident throughout the day.
My gym sessions are often very intensive. At times, I try to listen to my body. On days when I don’t feel very energetic, I prefer staying at home and doing yoga or slow-paced workouts. Different yoga postures help me relax, improve flexibility and reduce stress, which is equally important for maintaining good health.
Apart from that, I also go for walks whenever I want a break from intense exercise. Walking helps me clear my mind and feel refreshed. I believe that staying healthy is about maintaining balance and consistency. These habits have not only improved my physical fitness but have also made me feel more focused, motivated and positive.
