Inventions has shaped the lives of people. According to my opinion, internet is one of the greatest technological inventions of this century. It has shifted people’s lives profoundly. A large number of people use the internet for various reasons and have been benefitted immensely. The source can be used from a number of devices. One can easily get the internet services on their cell phones, laptops and other new age gadgets. This is a great cue card topic to talk about.

The use of internet has become a part and parcel of our everyday lives. In the old times, people used to refer to lot of books and visit different sources in order to obtain information. Now the problem has been solved to a major level and its very easy, like a click away to finding information on almost any possible topic.

The internet providers has also managed the costing very well, making it affordable to more and more people.

The other important benefit is that they can make phone calls and can connect to people via easy messaging at any time of the day at any part of the world. Distance is no longer an issue. With the evolution and innovation of internet, people use them for many other purposes as per their interests which include playing games, tracking cars, indulging in social networking sites, uploading their travel pictures, chatting with friends, using utility applications, watching videos and listening to music. The list of advantages is quite large.

The internet is a breakthrough invention for people of all age and barriers. In fact, in this modern times it is nearly impossible to do without the internet. So, people around the globe are using them and meeting their needs. (289 words)

There are many sports channels on TV and sites on the internet which enable us to watch different matches and tournaments which take place around the globe. It is obvious that we have our own favorite sports star whom we love to see on the field. Let us look at a cue card that asks us to talk about a sportsperson whom we like the most.

Like majority of my fellow Indians, I love to watch the game of cricket. If I talk of cricket in my country, Sachin Tendulkar is one name which shines like a precious diamond. He was a former captain of the Indian national team and is regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all times. Tendulkar started playing the game at the age of eleven and made his test debut against Pakistan at the age of sixteen. He is a record holder by scoring one hundred double centuries and completing more than 30,000 runs in international cricket. He is lovingly called the little master or master blaster by his fans. He is also considered as the god of cricket by his fans and fellow cricketers. The government of India felicitated him with numerous awards and honors such as Arjuna award, Rajiv Gandhi khel Ratna award, Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan. He is also the youngest recipient of the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award. Not only is he a great player but a wonderful human being also. He always motivates and supports young players of not just cricket but other sports as well. In the end I’d like to say that we all are extremely proud of Sachin Tendulkar and wish that all the young players continue to gain inspiration from this great personality.

Collecting items is considered to be a hobby by many and it takes a lot of knowledge and interests to collect something worthy. But, with time, it is becoming a diminishing hobby of sorts nowadays however, there are still many people who have kept this ritual alive. One such person that I know of is Mr Khan. He is a next door neighbour of mine and has worked with the Indian Navy. His voyages and expeditions have landed him in various remote corners of the globe. That’s how he developed this hobby of collecting coins.

He has special custom made boxes where he stores his collection. They are made of premium wood and have partitions inside it in order to store each coin individually. Along with these boxes he has a book in which he has gathered as much information about these coins as possible. The notes and his collection are very informative and they speak volumes about themselves. The most striking feature about his collections is that they are arranged according to the countries in an alphabetic order. So to procure information about any coin from any country is very easy.

It has slowed down over the course of past few years. It’s mostly due to the fact that he has retired now and wants to take things easy. Due to the health issues he is not able to travel that frequently however, he still has loads of tourists flocking his doors as his collection is quite famous and every now and then he will lay his hands on something worthy through them.

One needs a vast knowledge of history for collecting coins. Currencies have played vital roles in our knowledge of understanding past. It is a hobby that requires a lot of patience and at the same time it can be very rewarding too. Certain numismatist have amassed millions through their collections. They all have one thing in common which is their love for history.

Paraphrase the question-The graph compares the number of deaths caused by a random disease, in Mars, over a period of six years i.e. from 1994 to 2004.
Body paragraph 1- For the initial two years, the deaths amongst women were higher as compared to men. During the first year, a margin of approximately 4 hundred thousand was marked, however it declined to nearly 200 thousand in the second year. Although men dying of the random disease increased in 2001, a slum was observed in women deaths.
Body paragraph 2-In the next three years, from 2002 to 2004, the figures in case of both men and women went down, with both the numbers almost levelling out in 2004. With a boom in the deaths of women in 2002, after the dip, the next three years marked a dramatic fall.
Overview- Over the entire period of time, the number of men and women, dying of random disease, showed opposite trends. Women saw a steady decline till 2000 before slumping in 2001 and booming in 2002, after which marking a considerable decline. While, number of men remained steady till 2002, with slight fluctuations, before ending up at a decrease in 2004.
