With increased awareness regarding the ill effects of smoking, most of the organisations have banned smoking in the campus area. Although some believe that it is a way of imposing restrictions on the employers, others believe it is a right way to ensure health for other employees.

Imposing restrictions on smoking in business area brings with it great benefits for the employees. Firstly, it ensures that people who don’t smoke are not affected by its ill effects. Even more, some people are either allergic or cannot stand the smell of the smoke, a no smoking office, provides them with a healthy environment to work in. In addition, the people who smoke are often under pressure and don’t realize the ill effects smoking. Banning it would surely reduce the consequences on them.

On the other hand, although banning smoking has several advantages, it could also be a point of frustration for many. For instance, a person who is habitual to smoking and needs to smoke every hour to carry on the work, might not like the idea as it would hamper his/her work efficiency.

Overall, smoking surely has its own reasons and banning it entirely might reduce the overall efficiency of the company . In my opinion, instead of stopping people from smoking, different zones must be made in a company. Like a place where everyone can smoke and relax and come back to work.

With the increase in technology, computers are increasingly being used for education. Some people believe in the tryst of computers vs teachers,  soon their will be no role for teachers in the classroom.

Computers have brought about incredible change in the education system and the way information is retrieved. The search for information has become easier and amusing, and connectivity has expedited the data availability. Although experts have made computers more intelligent and interactive, they have yet not become a substitute of human interaction in the process of learning. In my opinion, there is a need of change in the teacher’s role but complete disappearance might not be the most pragmatic thing to do.

Acquiring knowledge through computers is undoubtedly the more fun and easier. At the younger age, the mere fact that the information that you want is just a click away instigates lot of excitement. This, accompanied by the software interactivity contributes to a better grasp of new knowledge. Even more, at higher levels, with the availability of online courses, learning has become more broader.

However, although software have come a long way and with the concepts of smart classes existing, one cannot deny the importance of human interaction in the process of learning. The expertise of a teacher in how to explain and adapt complex concepts to different individuals can hardly be mimicked by a computer, no matter how sophisticated its software is.

Overall, technology has surely come a long way and made learning lot more easier. But, a teacher helps in understanding tougher concepts and creating a motivating environment. In my opinion, what is needed is that teachers understand the technology and  bridge the gap between technology and students.

Attending a live performance is always better than watching the same event online or on television.

Observing some events in real life as person has more impact on us rather than watching them in your bedroom on television or internet. Liking and disliking changes from person to person, some people are delighted to attend events in live show and others prefer to watch them while sitting in their bed room.
Watching events at the comfort of home brings along with it certain advantages. Firstly, it is a reasonable idea to join the event. For instance, a show of Taylor Swift might cost a person an arm and leg but watching the same show online might be the preference of some people. Secondly, while watching these programs when they are broadcasted one can manage his daily routine by working around.

On the other hand, while attending live events we can enjoy more because of charged audience and amusing environment. The claps of audience, slogans and the interaction with the celebrity can warm up the pleasant environment. Even more, at the end of event we can meet the distinguished people and even can take their pictures with us.
Secondly, live shows bring with them extreme joy and happiness along with them. One makes programmes with family and friends, takes out time and spends some quality time with near and dear ones.
Overall, in my opinion, although it is a good idea to attend live shows but one must not enjoy them at the at the cost of duty and budget.
