Just like each drop of water adds to the ocean’s embrace, many notable people contribute to news as a whole. But among all the person, to whom, I staunchly wish to meet is Miss Cookie. She is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, motivational speaker and a social worker. She is in her mid-twenties. I was first introduced to her in the inauguration of her NGO called ‘KALA’, which works for betterment and prosperity of transgenders. Her young age is the major reason of her being in news. She achieved all heights at a formative age which is a consequence of her hard work and determination. Another reason of her being in highlight is sky-rocketing profit of her business. Recently, she was in discussion of many folks because of her wedding. She married a US-based Indian businessman. Millions of dollars were spent but it had a social aspect also they donated a huge amount for welfare of orphans.

Q1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of being in news?

Ans. The main advantage of being in news is to gain popularity. Many politicians and actors use this media to reach masses, whilst being in news affects the privacy of people being casted and that is the reason why rich businessman Mr. Gautam Adani flinch from media.

Q2. Do you think news channels are telecasting vague news nowadays? Why?

Ans. Personally, I consider that news channels now-a-days are broadcasting misleading and vague news to capture targeted audience. Proofs are there proving that these channels are sponsored by political parties under the table to create good image among public. Sometimes these channels telecast exaggerated version of news to gain more target rating points.
