ANSWER:

Engaging in certain hobbies really helps people to unwind themselves from their hectic lifestyles. Therefore, I think hobbies play an important role in maintaining the overall well-being of a person. As an individual, I am interested in many different leisure activities, but my favourite would be painting.

There is a very interesting story behind my fascination for this art form. My uncle is a well-established artist, and he always emphasises creativity and authenticity of ideas. I visit him regularly during the summer holidays, and one day he was working on his new art piece. As I watched him working, he encouraged me to draw and paint something out of my own imagination. I drew a landscape with two deer. Ever since then, I have become fond of painting.

I usually paint something when I am stressed or even happy. It is a way of expressing my emotions. I love painting because it allows me to work on my imaginative powers. Also, it helps me to improve my concentration and makes me feel calm the entire day.
