Sample Answer

The world has seen a lot of changes in terms of technology. Handwriting played a pivotal role in written communication a few decades ago. However, that has changed in recent years and with the use of technology the importance of handwriting is gradually declining. Some experts believe that handwriting still holds a value while others disagree with them. This essay will look at both points of view and give my opinion about the same.
On one hand, the dependency upon handwriting has reduced significantly in today’s digital world. In some industries, handwriting has totally vanished and all the work gets done on computers. Media and research industry are the most common examples of fields which have seen a steady decline in use of handwriting over the course of years. On a personal level too, people have easy access to electronic devices like phones, tablets and computers etc. They are more interested in writing material on their devices as compared to a conventional notepad or paper.
On the contrary, education still forms an integral part of our education system due to the fact that majority of the exams are still handwritten. Those who are able to write legibly or articulately have an edge as compared to those who cannot. This is primarily because of the fact that handwriting still plays a vital role in academics. It is a well known fact that handwriting helps children in improving their concentration and significantly sharpens their memory. It also enhances their ability to organise their thoughts and express themselves.
To sum up, handwriting plays a pivotal role in our education system. Even though we are getting digitalised, still the importance of handwriting cannot be ignored and we should find a way to keep this dying skill alive. (293 Words)

IELTS Essay #Developing soft skills is more important

IELTS Essay #getting experience and developing soft skills is more important.

IELTS ESSAY #DEVELOPING SOFT SKILLS IS MORE IMPORTANT, ieltsband7 dehradun

Sample Answer

University education is one of the most important elements of an individual’s life. It is not just a learning process, it is a critical component of human development worldwide. Going to an educational institute and getting a degree is considered to be the best way by some for having a good job and a prosperous life. There are others, who contradict this statement and believe that getting some sort of practical experience and investing your time in learning a skill is worthier. In this essay, I will analyse both these views and give my opinion.
On one hand, the supporters of tertiary education may argue that spending money on higher education has many tangible (real and not imaginary) and intangible (to give an exact value) benefits. An educated person has wide range of opportunities as compared to a skilled person moreover, an educated person is able to choose his own career path as compared to a skilled person who is more dependent upon physical labour. Most of the universities across the world have courses and degrees that are universally recognisable, so one has chances of moving abroad for better opportunities
In the same way, developing skills is also a major component as not always does a university degree prove to be worthy of its cost and time spend on it. Various studies have shown that 30 percent of the students drop out in the second year of their course as they believe they were never sure about education. Unemployment among university degree holders is rising at a rapid rate and due to economic slowdown most of the companies are making their employees redundant. The cost of a university degree is very high and most people in developing countries often take loans to complete their higher education. Not to mention the additional burden of fees that families have to bear.
In the end, after looking at both the sides, I do believe that developing soft skills does have some advantages over university education in the short run but in the long run benefits of university education certainly outweigh minor drawbacks such as cost and unemployment. (354 Words)

IELTS WRITING ESSAY#QUALITIES THAT CHARACTERISE A SUCCESSFUL PERSON, IELTSBAND7 DEHRADUN

Sample Answer

Measuring success has always been difficult. Many experts measure it by the wealth or popularity an individual has. In this essay, I will outline the qualities that successful people should possess along with the justification for these traits.
To name a few, hard work and dedication are some of the most important characteristics I personally associate with successful individuals. Likewise, the richest people on the planet built their fortunes from scratch and it depicts their never give up attitude and commitment towards achieving their goals. Jack Ma (Founder and ex CEO Alibaba group) is a perfect example of an individual motivated to never give up on his pursuit of success. His struggles are well documented and he is a perfect example of a man who went from rags to riches with hard work and perseverance.
In contrast, wealth is not always a parameter for being successful. Likewise, there are various individuals across the world that are pretty well known for their social work and their goals are not money oriented. Having a positive attitude and trying to make a change for the society are also the attributes of a successful person. Nobel laureate, Dalai Lama is an ideal example of a person who has brought peace and harmony in the world without having any financial goal or selfishness.
To sum up, the way we all perceive success is different. For some it is measured in monetary terms and for others it’s more about brining a positive change. According to me, it’s all about making the most out of difficult situations and bringing a in the society. (266 Words)

IELTS ESSAY # EVERYONE CAN GET ACCESS TO THE INTERNET, IELTSBAND7, DEHRADUN

Sample Answer

The Internet has changed the way we perceive day to day activities. It has affected major walks of life and given entertainment a new perspective. Majority of the western countries have digitally revolutionised and everyone has access to the internet while in other parts of the world it is still considered as a luxury. It is often argued that governments should be responsible for ensuring that everyone can get access to the internet. I personally do not believe that it is the government’s responsibility to provide free internet access to everyone as it is quite an unreasonable demand. In this essay, I will support my opinion with examples.
In many growing economies, the government has several major problems to tackle like hunger, poverty, infrastructure and healthcare etc. In my opinion, equating these issues with the need of access to the internet is quite illogical however, the government can instead digitalise public institutions such as libraries, colleges, community centres etc and provide free internet access to everyone. Various studies have shown that majority of the people use internet for entertainment rather than educational purposes. Social media like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc are the most commonly visited sites as compared to educational websites, which are rarely browsed. Setting up internet facilities requires expensive equipment which will put additional burden on an already pressurised government and I would rather have the government spend this money to eradicate poverty or on the basic needs of its citizens.
In the end, I would like to conclude that even though providing internet access in some parts of the world will be a step in the right direction, certainly it’s not the need of the hour. According to me, providing basic facilities such as food, sanitation, clean drinking water etc are of much more importance and should be dealt at first. (301 Words)
