Hardwork is a key to success
HARDWORK
That hard work is a key to success is a well-known adage. Parents, teachers as well as others guide a child to work hard so that he can achieve good scores. Though a little bit of luck plays a positive role but I believe that hard work is the key to success. In fact if only luck is to be considered, no one would work but just wait till their luck shines up.
But this is not the case. Today we see that technology has improved to such an extent that a person can have a lunch in Paris and a dinner in New York on the same day. There lies great contribution from people like the Wright brothers and Henry Ford to invent these means of transportation, which were the result of their hard-work and great efforts. If these people had waited for the D-day probably we could still have been using fire and wood to cook instead of using electrical ovens, and the globalization would not have taken effect.
Today a young individual has the potential to do something and crave in reaching a particular acme. Whether your luck prevails or not condition being hard work and efforts, which will pick you up where ever you are.

I am from a small town. I haven’t had enough opportunity to visit many places out of my home city. There is one particular metropolitan city where I always dream of visiting that is the capital city of India, New Delhi. Delhi has a lot to offer to everybody. It has a great history. Every stone in Delhi has a story to narrate.
Delhi is known as Lutyens’ Delhi also as the whole design of construction of this city is idealised by the British architect Edwin Lutyens. New Delhi has a lot of monuments reminiscent of the British rule. Delhi is divided into New Delhi and Old Delhi. The house of parliament, the Connaught place and the prime minister’s office are a few structures that can be seen in New Delhi. It has a number of monuments, historical buildings, educational institutes and gardens.
Old Delhi presents all the lively picture of Medieval India. It has many old buildings. The Red fort and Jama Masjid are also situated in Old Delhi. I am excited to visit all these places about which I have been studying and watching since long.
Delhi is a great hub for shopping also. Across the country, people come here for buying and selling things. I am a shopaholic, for me it’s going to be a great experience.

It is situated on the banks of the river Yamuna and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. The mausoleum is made entirely out of white marble and decorated with many other precious stones.. It is one of the most beautiful historical buildings. It is also one of the seven wonders in the world. This is very famous among people as a symbol of love. It was built by the Mughal emperor, Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died during child birth. It took 20 years of time to construct this pristine beauty. But it has one more story behind it that Shahjahan chopped off the hands of the architect who designed the whole idea of this building. IELTS Essay: People get judged on the basis of social status. To what extent do you agree
IELTS Writing Task-2 Essay
People get judged on the basis of social status. to what extent do you agree.
A person’s worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honour, kindness and trust, no longer seem important.
To what extent do you agree or disagree.
Sample Answer
Expensive cars, luxurious life-style and hefty amount of money help rich people to get extra attention at every place. It is evident that people these days get judged on the basis of their wealth. Although the rich attain some uncommonly privileges, it is not true that other moral values are losing their significance in our lives.
Certainly, money plays an important role to categorise the status of people. Most rich people get extra consideration because of their possession of expensive items. Most of the time their display of abundance of possessions like big mansions, branded cars and boasting about holiday in foreign countries make others envy of them. Nevertheless, many of them get into lime light for some of their nefarious activities as well. Divorce, over-indulging in alcohol and bad relationships always make them talk of the town.
Undoubtedly, humanity is the back bone of any society. Survival for a long period of time will not be possible without trusting each other and showing kindness to others. A large group of people are still following basic old-fashioned values to form friendships and maintaining relationships. Trust and unconditional love are still considered as important aspects to deal with people, prospering harmony among them.
To conclude, there is no denying that we live in a materialistic world where society judge any one on the basis of their social status. Looking beyond the materialistic possessions, however, there are people who are the safeguards of humanity. Keeping our old beliefs and values alive among us.
