Myths About IELTS
Common
Myths About IELTS
which make most of the students nervous about the exam:
1.Non-native speakers can’t get a band 9 on IELTS
2.I have to keep practicing tests to improve my score
3.I need to learn long lists of vocabulary to be successful
4.They make the IELTS test too hard so overseas students can’t get into university
5.If I don’t understand the examiner in the speaking test, I will get a low band
6.If I take the test in my country, I will get a better score
7.The examiner is looking at the clock in the speaking test so I must be very boring
All these are just myths and have nothing to do with the actual exam. It will be really helpful for the students if they just concentrate on the exam rather than getting worried for something which ain’t true.
