The diagram elucidates key processes involved in the production of milk as well as other dairy products for retail sale.
Altogether, there are 8 crucial steps in the process of milk production and all other milk-based products. Starting with cows grazing the grass and end with the consumers buying the dairy products at supermarkets and shops.
As mentioned above, the initial step is to let the cows graze on the green pastures, in order to gain nutrition. Meanwhile, they are put on a milking facility, wherein they are milked via means of a automatic milking machine. Therefore, the ensuing milk is stored in a refrigeration to keep it fresh before transporting it to another place. Subsequently, the milk is loaded into trucks and delivered for manufacturing. Wherein additional processes are applied to it in order to produce various dairy products.
Subsequently, a portion of milk undergoes pasteurization and packed for delivery, while the remainder is crafted into cheese, cream, butter and various other dairy derivatives. Finally, the processed products are dispatched to retail outlets and supermarkets where they become available for purchase by the public. (185 words)
