Well, whether vacations come unasked for or we really hope for them to happen, they make the lives worth living. This time, we are looking at a cue card that talks about vacation.

You should say:

  • where you went?
  • who you went with?
  • how you got there?

also, explain how you enjoyed there?

SAMPLE ANSWER

Travelling is one hobby that helps us to broaden our horizons and give us so many stories to share. It has for me been the best thing to do and I try to do it as often as possible. Recently, I visited Vishakapatnam with my teammates. Vishakapatnam or Vizag as it is often called is a city in Andhra Pradesh and is known for its amazing beaches.

We decided to go for the yearly outing after the MNC for which we work gave us the bonus. Being a team of 20 people, it was really fun going to Vizag. At around 10 we boarded a train and reached Vizag in the morning at 5. At that time, the breeze was perfect and the sun was just coming up. Across both the sides of the road, we could see the beach which made us so very excited about the place.

It was a two-day travel and on the first day, we went to Rishi Konda beach and also got to see the INS Kursura. INS Kursura is the fifth submarine of Indian Navy and we got to get inside it. Personnel there told us about the wars in which it was used and ignited in us the feeling of pride for our country.

Next day, we hopped on different beaches and relaxed later on. Towards the end of the day, we already had been to Yarda beach, lighthouse and seen some of the best things our country offers. We had made bonds over the laughs and fights, moments we all will cherish all our lives.
