Health is wealth is a famous proverb which says that health is more precious than money. It is always good to lead a healthy life and stay active. Any physical activity does not guarantee a long life but it definitely ensures a healthy life. . Few years back, I was having some health issues due to my unhealthy lifestyle. So, I picked up yoga to stay healthy and fit. In order to remain healthy and fit I do yoga every morning, for an hour.  Yoga is a perfect blend of pranayama and meditation. Therefore, it not only enhances my physical strength but also improves my mental health. It also keeps me positive and energetic throughout the day.

Although yoga was originated in ancient India, nowadays, the whole world is practicing it. The benefits of yoga are often misunderstood that its benefits are only limited to the physical level. However, yoga establishes a balance between our mind, body and soul. . Yoga poses strengthen our bones and muscles. Sun Salutation and Kapaal Bharti pranayama are highly useful techniques for weight loss. Therefore, yoga controls our mind and actions, thereby, offers an overall fitness.

Now, yoga has become an integral part of my life. It not only controls my weight but also helps me to relieve stress and anxiety.  Being a regular practitioner, I have highly benefitted by this physical exercise. It has improved my immunity and provided inner peace as well. I have not only become healthy but have also become calm and composed. Due to yoga and meditation I remain happy and peaceful. As a result, I am able to maintain healthy relations with everyone around me.

Over a period of time, advertisement has become the most popular strategy for marketing and promoting the products or services. It has brought significant change in the pattern of expenditure and consumption in the society. Some people support the idea of advertising a product, whereas others think that it brings a negative impact on the society. I will discuss both the views in my essay.

On one hand, advertising is an effective way of spreading the awareness among people about the use of new and existing products. Moreover, it enables the customers to compare a product with other competitive products available in the market, so that they decide whether a product is worth buying or not. Advertisements help in educating the society about various health and safety issues. Additionally, it is the best way to raise the demand for the products.

On the other hand, it stimulates people for impulsive buying by providing different promotional offers. As a result, instead of saving spend their money on purchasing unnecessary goods. Sometimes, through advertising some companies provide exaggerated and unrealistic review of their products. Consequently, people are misguided and cheated by such marketing tricks. Moreover, it only highlights the positive characteristics of a product and tries to hide its negative aspects.

In Summation, certainly, the production and innovation of goods and services have increased due to industrialisation. Nevertheless, as a result of advertisements, the gap between the producers and consumers has also narrowed. In my opinion, although advertisements have both negative and positive impact on the society, but the benefit of providing awareness outweighs any negatives.

In the past few years, modern technology has become accessible to society at large. More and more parents are relying on computers and laptops to make their children learn new things. In this essay, I will discuss both merits and demerits of using technology for learning.

Let’s begin by looking at the advantages of using tablets and smartphones. The main positive is that it supports social interaction and enhances communication skills. In other words, children can easily connect with their family and friends. Moreover, due to their advanced features, compact devices like mobile phones have become more than just a calling device. They can be used for entertainment and learning as well. Children get the chance to learn through various educational applications. Furthermore, playing games on smartphones, increases their mental stimulation and concentration.

Turning to the other side of the argument, excessive use of electronic devices makes children devoid of physical activity. It not only hampers their personal growth but also physical development. Another issue is that, children prefer isolation and become addicted to these devices. As a result, it adversely affects their interpersonal as well as social skills.

Considering both the sides, we can conclude that balance is the key. Although, smartphones and tablets have multiple benefits, reading and other physical exercises are also necessary for children’s overall development. I believe, the educational benefits of using electronic devices outweigh any drawbacks.

These days, many companies and brands are using spam for advertising their products or services. Spam or commercial emails are sent to random customers. They often contain misleading subject lines and badly crafted messages. Even though it is a fast and cost-effective way of approaching customers, I consider it unethical.

Let us start by looking at the problems people face due to spam mails. One of the biggest disadvantages of such mails is that they are not targeted to the right people, and the recipient may delete your email or unsubscribe. Moreover, the ‘click through rate’ of such emails is likely to be very low. Hackers can use this method to spread viruses and malicious software hidden in e-mail attachments.

Another issue is that, companies sending spams do not comply with privacy and data protection rules. The willingness of recipient to receive the mail is completely ignored by the sender. Hence, receiving these mails becomes troublesome as it irritates and annoys them. In addition to this, most of the time, there is no useful information provided in these emails. Sometimes it becomes difficult for the users to filter important mails from the inbox full of spam.

Turning to the other side of the argument, sending mails in bulk to a large group of customers repeatedly is the major advantage of a spam. This is a very cost-effective and eco-friendly method of advertising as no advertising cost and printing are involved.

All things considered, spam cause problems for the e-mail users. Instead of opting for  advertising through spam emails, companies should go for other online marketing techniques. Personally, I believe the negatives of spam eventually outweigh any positives. In order to avoid it, people can have an updated antivirus program. Moreover, we should never share our email address and personal information with any unreliable source.
