Sample Answer

With 8 Billion people living on our planet Earth, there isn’t much that’s left untouched by all of the humans. We need to exploit the earth’s resources in order to fulfill our daily basic needs. This is one of the main reasons as to why the pollution has grown so much throughout the years. I vividly remember that I went to Delhi, the capital of our nation, a few years ago with my family to meet some of our relatives who live there. As soon as we stepped into that city, we could feel the suffocation in the environment. There were so many people everywhere. The number of vehicles on the road was also enormous. We were stuck in the traffic jam for about 3 hours. To be exact about it, we entered Delhi at 4 pm but couldn’t reach our destination until 7:00 pm. The pollution caused by the rising population was quite evident in this metropolitan city. We couldn’t even breathe properly. Due to the pollution, we were feeling more hot and sweaty. After this trip me along with my family decided to not visit Delhi frequently as it was not our cup of tea. The government needs to consider the pollution there and take preventive measures to secure it from further exploitation.

Q1. Is there more pollution now than in the past?

Definitely, it is an undeniable fact that the pollution has grown so much ever since humans have advanced in all the aspects of life. There is a huge difference between the older time period and now. Nothing is as fresh and pollution free as it used to be in the older days. Even the population has increased very rapidly.

Q2. In what wats can air pollution be reduced effectively?

According to me there are plenty of ways to reduce the pollution. Firstly, people should avoid using private vehicles and switch to public ones.
People can start planting as much as possible and the factories or power plants must install air and water purifiers.

SAMPLE ANSWER

School days have been the best days of my life and no matter what I believe we all have memories attached to them. They do bring nostalgic moments in us. I studied in a convent school and there were many rules but the one that I did not like was if someone had not the proper dress, they would be sent out of the assembly and delayed for the first lecture. Our school had prefects and their job was to make sure that we all were in our proper dresses. Even a tint of error and we would be thrown out. Being an average person, I never had those perfect shoes or dress and so most of the times I would be out.

I remember once it became so frequent that people accepted it as my nature. The reason I did not like this rule was that, at some point in my life, I had an inferiority complex because of this. Children would make fun of me because of this and we would fight. Because of missing the first lecture, I did miss out on some very important things that were taught and it did impact my studies.

Most of the people in my school had no issues with this rule. Probably, because they always did wore the right dresses and shoes. But, there were few like me, who used to be out because of our neatness. I remember making friends all the way during this time. We would laugh and giggle sometimes. But initially, it was quite rough for all of us and I believe there could have been a better way of teaching us the importance of maintaining a dress code.

Animals are some of the most beautiful creations of nature in the world. They differ in their natural habitat, anatomy, and lifestyles. I have had the chance to notice a few of them in the zoos and public parks.

Out of all the animals that I know about, I find the giraffe to be the most interesting animal. The giraffe is one of the most beautiful animals and it can be easily differentiated from other animals due to its extraordinary height. Giraffes can reach up to eighteen meters in height with the maximum due to the length of the neck. There are different types of giraffes are found around the world. They are spectacular, particularly the baby giraffes.

They are beautiful to look at and the towering shape of their throat is particularly attractive. Their coat is possibly the most striking feature with dark brown patches with sharp edges on a light golden or brown background. Their tongues are extremely long and are also used for cleaning their ears. I have seen many giraffes in a zoo. They are vegetarians and are not at all ferocious or dangerous as other animals. Feeding acacia leaves to the smaller giraffes was an overwhelming experience for me. They also run very fast and are always alert for signs of danger in their surroundings. They usually roam around in groups and are a very intriguing sight to look at.

^{Level IELTS Band9} There are numerous national and international companies in my country. Today, I’m going to talk about an organization I would like to be a part of. The name of the organization is the Indian Space Research Organization, commonly known as the ISRO. It is the space agency of the government of India headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka. It was founded by Dr. Vikram Sarabhai in 1969. The ISRO has many centers which are located in different regions of India. I have a keen interest in celestial objects like stars, galaxies and black holes. My father’s close friend is a scientist in the ISRO. I have learnt a lot about the projects of this organization from him. In addition, I had the opportunity to visit the ISRO Satellite Center on a school trip. Over the last 47 years, the ISRO has emerged as one of the six largest space agencies in the world. It develops and delivers services in various fields. Communication, weather forecast, disaster management tools, geographic information systems, navigation, telemedicine and distant education satellites are some of them. Its mission of using space research for the development of the nation has always inspired me to become a scientist.
