Over the past few years, the population of working women has increased tremendously. Hence, the role of mother and father is becoming similar and interchangeable. The impact of this trend is pervasive and multi-faceted. Most of the working couples face miscellaneous problems while balancing their work life. Some people are able to manage their jobs and domestic life perfectly whereas, others face difficulties in equalizing their office and family. In this essay I will discuss about different problems of work-life balance and ways to overcome them.

People often ignore their health and personal needs while taking care of their family and job. Moreover, it creates a huge communication gap between the family members. As a result, the urge of building and maintaining a relationship is deteriorating day by day. To rectify this issue, companies can provide flexible working hours to the employees. Additionally, employers can also provide the facility of child care and elder care to their staff.

Generally, people play multiple roles in their personal and professional lives to keep up with the fast paced world. In this process, they need to switch from one task to another. During this transition, it sometimes becomes challenging to remain emotionally intelligent and stress-free. We tend to bring official issues to our home, thereby, it adversely affects other members as well. Therefore, to mitigate this concern, companies should cater gym, yoga and other recreational facilities in office premises.

Furthermore, since both husband and wife are employed, they are not able to spend enough time with their old parent and children. As a result, somewhere they always carry an emotional guilt for prioritizing their work over the family. People undergo frequent job hopping and transfers to maintain a harmony between their career and family. In order to deal with this problem, companies should provide an array of leaves and allowances to their employees. Eventually, this practice will help the people to enjoy quality time with their family and loved- ones.

Overall, in today’s competitive world, organisations and employees are working together incessantly to earn profits. People get no time to take care of their health and family. I believe, by making certain changes to the policies, companies can support their employees to balance their work-life smoothly.

Sample Answer
A group of individuals consider foreign tourism has more negative effects in a society rather than positive impacts. Certainly, there are several reasons behind developing negative attitude towards international tourism. However, by taking some steps, views of people can be changed.

The opponents of international tourism may argue that tourists cause pollution and can damage the environment. Tourists’ destinations are more polluted in comparison to other areas in a country. Foreign visitors often get criticised due to their irresponsible behaviour towards a host country. Many times tourists get caught throwing litter here and there. This excess of littering disturbs local residents. Furthermore, tourists do not always respect beliefs and customs of different culture. Foreign travelers may hurt the feelings of local people due to poor understanding of others’ beliefs. What is more, sometimes youngsters get influenced by tourists. The country may lose its own values and sense of identity.

Nevertheless, with the help of government this situation can be tackled. First of all, the government should explain the benefits of international tourism which helps in boosting the foreign revenue of any country. During their stay, travelers spend a hefty amount on accommodation, transportation, meals and many other facilities. This way local people earn a good amount. International tourism not only provides monetary support but also generates employment in a society. By having negative attitude towards foreign tourists, is a loss of people only. Moreover, the government can provide the guidelines to tourists just after their arrival in any country. . The government should have proper advertisements and banners for spreading important knowledge. There should be a list of rules and regulations can be given to them so that activities by tourists can be performed accordingly

To conclude, there is no doubt that tourism is a back bone of any economy at this point of time. However, with the involvement of the government people’s negative attitudes can be changed towards the foreign travellers. Simultaneously, the government can raise the awareness among tourists also to protect the local habitat.

IELTS Essay: Discuss different views about change

Sample Answer:

Change has been an inevitable part of our lives. Some people prefer to stick to their old ways and leisure in their shields while some of them explore the altitudes and minds and come out as enlightened ones. I’m going to discuss both points of view in this essay.
There are many reasons why people feel the need to make prominent changes in their lives. With new situations comes new opportunities to explore and learn new things. This instills the lost confidence about oneself and makes one motivated. In addition, changes force people to be flexible and adaptable, which in turn promotes their personal and professional growth.
On the other hand, some people do not appreciate change so much. One key reason behind this view is that they become too comfortable in their own situations. The fear that changes can turn their lives upside down does not permit them to try something new. Their previous experiences of failure can also resist them from accepting any changes.

To conclude, there are no easy answers to this question. On balance, however, I tend to believe that change is a big necessity for anyone who wishes to have an interesting and fulfilling life. Certainly, embracing changes is a challenge but we should accept them.

IELTS Essay: People get judged on the basis of social status. To what extent do you agree

IELTS Writing Task-2 Essay

People get judged on the basis of social status. to what extent do you agree.
A person’s worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honour, kindness and trust, no longer seem important.
To what extent do you agree or disagree.

Sample Answer

Expensive cars, luxurious life-style and hefty amount of money help rich people to get extra attention at every place. It is evident that people these days get judged on the basis of their wealth. Although the rich attain some uncommonly privileges, it is not true that other moral values are losing their significance in our lives.

Certainly, money plays an important role to categorise the status of people. Most rich people get extra consideration because of their possession of expensive items. Most of the time their display of abundance of possessions like big mansions, branded cars and boasting about holiday in foreign countries make others envy of them. Nevertheless, many of them get into lime light for some of their nefarious activities as well. Divorce, over-indulging in alcohol and bad relationships always make them talk of the town.

Undoubtedly, humanity is the back bone of any society. Survival for a long period of time will not be possible without trusting each other and showing kindness to others. A large group of people are still following basic old-fashioned values to form friendships and maintaining relationships. Trust and unconditional love are still considered as important aspects to deal with people, prospering harmony among them.

To conclude, there is no denying that we live in a materialistic world where society judge any one on the basis of their social status. Looking beyond the materialistic possessions, however, there are people who are the safeguards of humanity. Keeping our old beliefs and values alive among us.
