Model Of School # Essay For IELTS

Some people think that it is better to educate boys and girls in separate schools. However , others believe that boys and girls benefit more by attending mixed schools.
Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
Write at least 250 words.

In most countries, single sex and mixed schools exist and it is up to the parents or the children to decide which model is better for them. There are opinions that it is effective to teach boys and girls in separate schools while some others believe that teaching the pupils together is a better way. However, I believe that both the models have their own benefits and drawbacks and it is up to the individual whether they are able to change the drawbacks into benefits.

Single sex schools offer great benefits. Firstly, there are no gender biases in the schools. For instance, a boy need not to feel awkward while choosing a cookery class and a girl might not feel weird to be part of the boxing club. This helps the individuals to grow and learn things that they love irrespective of other people’s opinion. Secondly, during the growing years a child experiences hormonal changes. Studying in a single sex school allows them to concentrate more on their studies.

On the other hand, many educationalist believe that mixed schools prepare children for their future lives. They help in growing a child emotionally and saves them from the awkwardness they might face in later years when have to work with the other gender. Even more, children learn a lot from each other in mixed schools and develop skills that could be beneficial for them in later years.
Personally, I have been to a mixed school and it has helped me in interacting in a better way with the opposite sex. However when I hear the stories of my friends who had been to single sex school, I even realize they had fun in a completely different way.

Overall, in my opinion, both the schools offer great learning and in the end it completely depends on the individual on how well they are able to grasp from the environment.

Children As Member Of Society # Essay For IELTS Dehradun

A child education is not about learning few basic skills, it is about understanding the things around and learning the art of living harmoniously in a society. There are believers who assume that it is the responsibility of parents to teach children the etiquettes to live in a society. However, there are even individuals who think that teaching a child is the work that must be done in the school. I, although stand by the fact that responsibility of making the next generation better members of society has to be shared by both parents and teachers.
Parents are the first teachers of a child and it is in the growing years of a child that he/she forms his/her personality. It is not only what you say to the kid during those years, but also what he or she observes, defines the person he/she will be. It is therefore the responsibility of the parents to make sure that the child lives in a healthy environment and sees the good things about the world. Even more we live in a society where what seems right to one might not be to others. For instance, coming late at home is acceptable for some while may not be for others. Hence, it is the task of the parents to teach their kids how to be respectable to others and yet maintain their individuality.
However, there come a stage when the child moves out of the comfort zone and enters the school. This is the time when he/she becomes part of a wider community and his/her peers and teachers have the same influence. It then comes upon the teacher to make sure that the child is getting the right value education. It is there that a child must be taught how to co-operate with each other and contribute to the society.
Overall, in my opinion, learning goes on for the entire life and the task of teaching cannot be shed to a single person. It is the shared responsibility of every member of the society.

Talent Or Hard Work # Essay For IELTS

It is often believed that some people are born with talents, for example in sport or music. However, it is sometimes claimed that anyone could be taught to become a good sportsman or musician.
Discuss both views and give your opinions.

Hard work wins if talent does not works hard. The importance of talent and hard work has been put into debate several times before. Although some people believe that anyone can be taught anything with continued practice, there are even opposing views, which believe that it is very important to have some innate capabilities before you can nurture on them. I believe that although anyone can acquire a skill, but if the natural talent of an individual is worked on, they reach a higher level of success.

A child is like a clay, the way you mould it ,the shape it takes. If the child from the beginning is taught a particular sport, for example, basketball, chances are high that the time, he/she reaches youth, he/she will be excellent in the game. The best example of such a practice is our education system, wherein all students are taught sports, music, academics etc.

However, as is often seen, in a class of ten who are taught a particular sport or music, there is someone who does it extremely well, although he or she practices the same. They need not to learn the basic rules to apply them, somehow they know it before hand. For example, in my bharatnatyam class, there were many who did the steps technically correct, but there were even some, who need not to learn all the techniques to do them correctly. If such an individual learns all the techniques, he/she will do it far better. Even more, you can teach how to sing, but you rarely can change the voice.

Overall, I am of the view that anyone can be taught anything but to reach the highest level of excellence in fields like sport or music, it is important to have some innate talent. However, if an individual does not works on their talents, the person working hard on it will surely succeed.

Job Satisfaction # Essay For IELTS

You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.
Write about the following topic:

Some people argue that it is important to have an enjoyable job than to earn a lot of money. Others disagree and think that a good salary leads to a better life.
Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.
Write at least 250 words.

Most people do a particular job to earn money and lead a luxurious life while there are even some who follow the untraded path and define success on their own terms. I believe that since work takes a lot of time of our lives, we must make sure that we love it. However, not everyone is fortunate enough to follow their own heart. In this essay, I will discuss both views and present my
opinion.

Doing what makes sense to us, although requires lot of courage, brings great benefits along with it. Firstly, achieving success is never tough. When you do what you love, you do it more often. Most importantly, you pour your heart out on it and this leads to success. Secondly, loving your job allows you to lead a more meaningful life. For example-: Steve jobs loved computers and it was only because he loved it, he was able to revolutionize the field of computers. Thirdly, you may not earn money, but you surely earn yourself. A person who enjoys his/her work, tends to live a more happy life and is often seen to respect oneself more.

However, earning less money and doing an enjoyable job may not make sense to many. Most people have tough financial conditions, which makes it difficult for them to choose satisfactory job above money. For instance-: a person who is the sole bread earner of a family will surely choose a high earning job to ensure a good life to their family. Secondly, most people don’t understand the importance of job satisfaction. They believe that happiness can always be bought from the market and for that you need money. This is often seen in people who come from a poor background because they have seen a life of starvation.

I believe that no matter how bad the situation is you must always strive to follow your heart. Doing something only for money, not only lowers down your self-esteem but also deprives you of the real fun in life that comes from doing the work you love.
