Some people believe that when choosing a job, the only thing to be considered is the salary it is offering, while others are of the opinion that you should do what you love. Discuss both views.
You should write at least 250 words.

Sample Answer:

It is the cofounder of Apple that has inspired the generations to come to do what they love to do. However, in reality, often the things that we love tend to give us little money to be able to survive in the world. While there are people who believe that nothing is better than doing what makes them feel right, there are people of the opinion that one should be more practical when choosing a job. In my opinion, it must be a balance between the two.

Doing something that you love surely gives oneself a sense of achievement. When someone does a job that they like, it is more likely that people will finish it till the end. It is only when someone does what they are not very interested in, that they tend to give up. Even more, although some jobs pay less, if it feels right, the joy that one gets by doing something that their heart feels right, gives much more joy than something that is done purely for money.

However, it cannot be denied that money is equally important for leading a life. There have been people who felt in love with acting and when they tried pursuing their career in it, failed miserably. Some of them ended up being in mental asylums, others committed suicide. Keeping in mind such examples one needs to make sure that they are at least able to feed themselves before they go on to do something more close to themselves.

Overall, it is important to be financially independent to be able to live in this world but it is equally important to be able to do things that are true to one’s nature. (284 Words)

POINTS FOR “DO WHAT YOU LOVE”

• Doing something that you love or inspires you allows you to do it in the best possible way. One gives in their best and allows their creative juices to flow, while doing something that they like to do.
• When one does something that they like, it is less likely that they will fail because they don’t do it for anything but the sheer joy of being able to do the things.
• When someone does what they like or love or are passionate about, there are less chances of falling into the traps of competitiveness. No one does it to do it better than others, one is simply doing it to make sure they are happy.

POINTS FOR “DO THAT GIVES MORE MONEY”

• An individual does not lives in a vacuum, they are different responsibilities that one needs to fulfil. To be able to do that, one needs money and that is very important.
• Money  provides a person more security and financial independence than anything else. A person with no money, cannot even buy his or her food, causing depression and other issues.
• Sometimes a person does not actually knows what they love. Hence it is better to do something that gives at least money, rather than doing something they don’t even know if they love.

SAMPLE ANSWER

The population of the world is increasing and with that the requirement for houses. To cater to this requirements, new buildings are being constructed at a faster rate. This has given rise to the number of accidents related to buildings.  Some people opine that Government is solely responsible to ensure the safety and codes while others believe that house owners are the persons who should be responsible. In my opinion, government is responsible for building laws, it must be the responsibility of the builder to make sure that the laws are followed.

Giving the responsibility to government is better for different reasons. Firstly, we as individuals pay taxes to ensure better facilities, and the government must ensure that the country men are getting proper accommodation. Secondly, often the law makers are more aware about the constitution and other disasters. So, they are more aware of what should be done.

On the other hand, it is impossible for the government to appoint necessary man power and make sure that the law is being followed. It must be the responsibility of all the people working in construction, including the architect, labor and engineer to make sure the laws are properly implemented. Also, labors should avoid working in hazardous situation ,where they are not provided by proper equipment.

Overall, government is made to show the path of how to work. It is responsible for making laws and strengthening. It must be the responsibility of individuals to make sure that the laws are in acted. In my opinion, the issue can be better addressed if government and individuals work together in same direction.

World history suggests that violence and conflict were more evident under male leadership than under female leadership.

So, for peace to prevail, female leadership can be considered as a better option than male leadership.

SAMPLE ANSWER

The wars and struggles are part of the world history for a very long period. However, with advancement in technology, it has all become much faster. Although, the ware has been evident, some people believe that the world is at more peace when a female is at power, rather than male. In my opinion, this can be because of the characterstics of women, however, it is about great leadership than gender of the leader.

The history has showed us some of the most ruthless rulers, and mostly they have been men. It was Hitler, a male, who contributed significantly for the world war 2. Even more, the first world war was mostly caused by the male ego, assassinations and conflicts of interests among men. Very few female leaders contributed taking decision to have war with other nations in their period of ruling a country.

However, on cannot forget, Queen Isabella of Spain, Queens Marry, a.k.a. Bloody Marry, Victoria, and Elizabeth of Britain, all of them have ruled over vast spectrum of power and  they often have done so ruthlessly, achieving goals with an iron hand.

But, there is other side of the coin as well. When the world saw Hitler, it also saw, Winston Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi and when it witnessed Queens Marry, we also noticed, Mother Teresa, Aung Suu Kyi.

Overall, in my opinion, it is the lust of power that causes wars, gender is just a biological existence.
