ANSWER:

Well, I have been to many temples, marriages and cultural events that are well full of people. Today, I’d like to talk about my experience of visiting an over-crowded temple.
I vividly remember the time when I went to a crowded place. This place is Ayodhya, a holy city in India. Basically, me and my family visited that place in the summer 2024 to see the Lord Ram temple. It is one of the most popular temples in India. At first, the trip went on pretty well, as we were able to visit the temple peacefully, and prayed in front of the idol of Lord Ram. However, when it was time to visit a nearby temple me and my family faced a lot of difficulties.
Actually, the temple was of Lord Hanuman, who is another deity in the Hindu religion. The trip to Lord Ram’s temple is considered incomplete if we don’t visit the Hanuman temple. So, we went there, and as soon as we reached it, we saw that there was a lot of rush and there was a long queue of people waiting to enter the temple. We joined the queue and waited for hours to enter the temple, and when we finally entered, we were shocked to witness that there was a lot of pushing going on inside the temple; every person was pushing the other to see the idol of Lord Hanuman. I was squashed between strangers in the commotion. To be honest, at that moment I just wanted to get out and get some fresh air. It was highly suffocating as well as chaotic. As far as I know, the temple was overcrowded because a lot of people wanted to pay obeisance to the deity, but above that, I think the biggest cause was poor management.
Overall, my experience was disappointing and exhausting. I’d definitely be more mindful in future, and will check if it’s going to be a very crowded place.
