Holiday With Friend # Letter For IELTS

You are planning to spend a two-week holiday in an English-speaking country where you have a friend. You need some advice about travelling there. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
- explain why you have decided to visit that country and give some details of your trip.
- ask about the places you should visit.
- ask if you can stay at your friend’s place for a few days.

Dear Alice,
I am sorry I haven’t written for so long. My work keeps me so busy, that I never have a minute to myself. I am writing to tell you about the short visit I am planning to your city.
Australia has been my dream destination for a long time now. I have told you about the travel blog that I have and with time I am getting good number of viewers. Most of them have asked me to write about Australia and its restaurants and beaches and the people and its culture. So, I am planning to visit Australia for a month.
You have been living in Australia for now about 6 years and I hope that you will have good knowledge about the country. I tried to check about Australia on internet, but I realised the information you can share, I cannot get it online. I would like to know which month would be the best time to visit Australia, what are the different festivals they celebrate and which are the ones that must not be missed. During what time, can I find Australia in its uttermost beauty and what are some of the must do things and must go places in Australia?
