Life is liven on the edge, those who never take risk die more often than they live. There are many who love adventures and enjoy taking risk more frequently. However, it has been seen that often people die or injure themselves for life while doing an adventure sport or a stunt. It is because of these incidences that some people believe that sports involving risk of life must be abolished. However, I believe that death is fatal, banning a sport won’t save anyone’s life. Although, proper care must be taken to avoid such incidences.
Dangerous sports such as river rafting, bungee jumping, sky diving etc come with their own risk and fun. It depends on individual whether the risk and the fun involved if adventure for them or not. Therefore banning such sports might not be the best thing to do. Firstly, it is not compulsory for everyone to play such sports. The decision is always of an individual, banning such games would deprive a person of his/her decision. Secondly, there is always a proper training, only after which do people go out to play such games. For instance, a person requires a sky diving license before he/she can do it which involves rigorous training. Thirdly, a little amount of risk is involved in every game, be it cricket or football or any other. For example-: Philips Hughes of died recently while playing a ball during a cricket match. This surely does not means that one must ban cricket.
However, proper training and equipment must be carried while playing such vulnerable games. For example-: if a person without knowing how to ride a bike, tries doing a stunt, chances are high that he/she may get himself/herself into trouble. Even more, it is preferred to have some kind of health insurance if you are involved with such sports.
Overall, I believe, the biggest risk in life is to not take any risk at all. Banning vulnerable games would in some way take away the freedom of an individual. Although, it must be made sure that everything is technically sound before you perform the sport.
