Sample Answer

Public transport is a medium of transport that is provided by a government or a private entity for the public. Highly convenient, reliable, and affordable as well, this medium of transport is a boon to millions of people worldwide. I also find it very beneficial and it has proven to be of great importance time and again.

With so many people traveling from home to work, city to city, or interstate as well, it is important for them in order to commute from one place to another.

I personally find it to be a great service, as well as a blessing whenever any urgent task has required me to travel without a personal vehicle. There have been various instances wherein my car or motorcycle was not working, and I had to reach my workplace, or when I had to travel to another distant city and I couldn’t travel by car. One such memorable incident took place when I was in college. My summer vacations were about to end, and I suddenly fell ill. I could not use my car to travel due to fatigue, so I decided to take a bus. Reaching college was very important, so I booked my tickets, and reached the bus station.

The bus started after a little while, and I sat down on my seat, looking out of the window. It was a very relaxed journey, as I did not have to drive, and I could eat snacks and read a book. I also had conversations with my fellow passengers, and got time to look out beautiful views from the window. Though I chose the bus travel as I was ill, but the amazing journey that I covered, changed my perspective on bus travels as well. If I get a chance to travel by bus again, I would definitely choose it again.

We have all played some game or the other during our childhood. The state of worry-free bliss and the passion that children have for their life brings pure joy to everyone’s hearts. Some children play indoor games such as chess or carom, while some children prefer outdoor games such as cricket or basketball.

I also used to play a lot of indoor and outdoor games with my friends when I was younger. I especially played a lot of basketball, and it was my favorite game. Basketball is a great game and has helped me in maintaining my health through full body exercise. We had a basketball court in our society, and all of the other children used to form two teams and play basketball for almost two hours every day. We used to have small competitions as well. Even in the game’s class in school, I spent most of my time playing basketball with my classmates. With time, I became better in the game, and my teacher and my parents supported me enough to become the school team captain.

I enjoyed myself in playing and representing my school and our team in other local championships and sports meets. This game has taught me a lot, such as leadership qualities, hand to eye coordination, team spirit, and most importantly, the value of physical fitness. I still remember those times and go to a court nearby to play basketball sometimes.

Gifting is an integral part of everyone’s lives today. This custom is widespread all around the world for a long time. It is used for expressing various emotions in a physical manner such as love, care, or gratitude. I have received a lot of beautiful gifts that have had a lot of thought put into them, from my near and dear ones. Our culture has a tradition of gifting money when you visit some relative’s place.

I keep traveling along with my parents to other cities when they have work or to attend any functions. We keep meeting different extended family relations, and they really adored me since I was a school going child. Once I went to Delhi, at my paternal uncle’s place, for a small family get-together. I and my mother stayed there for three days, and while leaving my cousin grandmother called me and along with a hug, she gave me two thousand rupees as a token of love.

I was highly humbled and touched her feet while thanking her for it. Having received money from other people in the past, I always make it a point to save it. Following the idea, I did the same there as well and gave the money to my mother to keep in her purse. After coming back home, I added it to her bank account against the F.D. in my name. This has been my idea of using the money received as a gift from the start. Personally, I feel that it is a good practice, as no matter how well you know anyone, you can never surprise them with the best-suited choice of a gift without consulting them. The money can be spent in any manner, for instance, I can spend it for a summer camp, to buy books or stationary, or simply save it for later use.

A lot of conflict takes place inside our brains while making a decision. When we start suffering from the choice overload, we tend to avoid the efforts of making a correct decision. Hence, we start seeking suggestions from others.

Recently, I found myself standing on the crossroads and was unable to decide where to go. In that situation, I decided not to bear the burden of the crossroad questions alone. Therefore, in order to reduce that cognitive dissonance, I approached my father for his help.

I was working in a renowned Multinational Company as a manager. Although, I was drawing a handsome salary there, I was not feeling happy and contented as I always wanted to be a businessman. At that point in my career, leaving a stable job just to fulfill my dream seemed quite risky. I discussed my plan with my father and asked for his advice. I told him that I wanted to come back to my hometown for doing business. He motivated me and said that we get only one life to live our dreams. Moreover, he not only shown his belief in my entrepreneurial skills but also supported me financially to establish my own enterprise.

By the grace of God and my father’s blessings, I am running my business successfully. What is more, I am able to provide employment to hundreds of people. That one decision has changed my life completely and the credit goes to my father. It not only helped me to fulfill my individual responsibilities but social responsibilities as well.
