IELTS Speaking Sample Answer # Method Of Learning

Speaking Question: Which method of learning works best for you?

Answer A) For me, the combination of technology and books , works incredibly well. I prefer reading from books, but while making notes, I read the book and add more to the topic using internet. Sometimes I even go through the you tube videos available, that make understanding the concept more easier. Also, it so happens that the diagram is not properly given in the book, internet always comes to help. This way, I am able to be ahead of what is in the textbook and yet not get lost in the maze of information.

Answer B) The only way that I can learn is through seeing and listening to it. So, I go through the you tube videos on the topic before I even open a book. Knowing what is written, helps me understand it better. Once I am thorough with the video, I try and imagine what is written, this helps me in understanding things well. Also, I remember things for a longer time.

Answer C) I prefer reading books for learning or understanding concepts. Although, some people think that with advancement in technology, we must study from it, technology acts as more of disadvantage to me as more often I end up using facebook or something on you tube.

IELTS Speaking Sample Answer # Changes In Future

What changes do you think will come in the education system in future?

Answer A) I think in future, education system will get completely transformed. One can imagine, not having books, but rather mobile phones or tablets using which students will study and or give assignments. It is also quite possible that human interaction between teachers and students will be taken over by robots. Although, I think there won’t be any changes regarding exams and they will continue to exist, I hope that the fear of exams will decrease. Well, as far as my imagination goes, I think students will have the option of attending the class from wherever they want to and attendance could be taken by the number of students who were online.

Answer B) In the next 50 years, I think education system will surely change. It is quite possible that books will get replaced by mobile phones and teachers. Also, may be the concept of going to school will be taken away. It is quite likely possible that there would be a robot teacher who would answer the queries and would explain students the chapters according to the wish of the child. I think it is very likely possible that the entire education system will become digitalized.

IELTS Speaking Sample Answer # Change In Past

How has education changed in the past ten years?

A) With the advancement in technology, education has surely broadened. Gone are the days when students were limited to what they have, with internet, now anyone can learn anything. They are not limited by just 100 pages of a book, but are open to a new possibility of learning more and effectively. Most of the schools, now even have smart classes to teach children. Students are able to learn better because they are able to see the real processes.

B) Although, there have been some major technological advancement, I think the education system is still the same. Obviously, students have now more options, I think apart from some big schools, the same old format of learning through books is followed. Children tend to study what is there in the book, rather than learning beyond it.  It is also not their fault, as most of them don’t realize the power of internet. In my opinion, the seed is sown, but there is a long way to go before we can make some major changes in the education system.

C) I think there have been some changes in education system, since past ten years. However, there are some similarities as well. Like, now more and more schools are using technology to improve the quality of education, but still, replacement a teacher is not found in technology. We have moved towards grade system, because earlier there was marking system till class X, however, the madness of getting into IIT is still the same. I think there have been changes and there will be more in coming times.

Starting from getting up early in the morning to, going for cycling or jogging and then reading newspaper is on my hit list.
