With advancement in technology, different means for exchanging of information have come up. Moving from radio, towards television we are finally in an era where any news or information is just a click away. Although every one has their own priorities and other kinds of media have their advantages too, however, there are objective reasons why the Internet is the best.

Television is a better form than radio, for simple reasons that in radio one can merely hear things whereas in television the visual comes along with audio. This provides a better experience of being updated. One can actually see the location and feel the moment. For instance, the time when India won the world cup in 2011, on one hand where radio listeners could merely hear the news or the commentary, the television viewers could see the entire game and the winning shot. News channels tend to flash it many times, adding more fun to it.

However, the major disadvantage with television and radio is that they are time bounded. Every episode or serial has its own timing and if you can’t watch it during that time, chances are high that you will lose it. Internet on the other hand makes getting news flexible. One can at any moment find out what happened five years ago. Even more, one can see the news of China or Pakistan or USA, whenever they want to.

Overall, internet surely comes with it own great advantages, but the traditional media will not disappear in near times. With internet not being accessible to many, it is only radio and television that come to help. In my opinion, internet is better but it has a long way to go.

Some people believe that having a pet helps old people in living a more healthier and enjoyable life.

In what ways do old people benefit from having a pet? Do you think there are any problem associated with old people having pet?

Loneliness can become an unwelcome companion as one gets older and can lead to depression and physical problems. Pets surely prove to be a great companion for old people.

Firstly, most of the pets such as dogs tend to mold themselves according to the routine and personality of the care taker making the old people feel as if they have a friend beside them. Secondly, having a pet is a responsibility  The routine of caring for a pet can give structure and purpose to daily life. Thirdly, people benefit from regular exercise and old people especially need it. It is very simple to miss on it if you are alone, but having a pet, it is quite obvious that you need to play with them or take them out for a walk etc daily.

Importance Of Pets

On the other hand, pets do bring along with them some issues. The major concern is the harmful effects of the animal hairs on the trachea of the old people ,especially the ones with asthma. The second issue is that old people themselves require care and concern and it is not always possible for them to cuddle the pet, causing distress in pets as well as dogs.

Overall, adopting pets surely brings along with it problems for the old people, one cannot deny the benefits of mental and physical health come with pets in the lives of old people. In my opinion, instead of not keeping pets, further support will be more beneficial.

Governments of richer countries must take initiatives for helping poor countries in these areas.

The world after the end of colonization has got divided into two parts : the industrialized and the developing. The main reason for the difference being the amount of money spent by the countries on different sectors such as education, health and commerce. Although, people living in the developed countries enjoy various facilities, those living in poor countries are faced with constant fear of economic breakdown. The numerous debts of these countries have resulted in a failed health care, an unstructured education system and a weak international trade.

Help from the rich countries will surely help in improving the financial situation of the countries. Firstly, most of the poor countries such as African, are facing acute poverty combined with poor health system making them more susceptible to epidemics.For instance,  the devastating consequences of the AIDS epidemic in those countries could improve if the infected population were to receive free drugs to control the disease, have access to health professionals and get information on how to prevent its spread.

Secondly, most poor nations take debt from richer nations or the world bank to improve their  improve their broken economies, but sometimes the money disappears with no significant changes and they cannot even pay the interest to the bank. With no money in hand, people tend to leave their education and start working at an earlier age. This often breaks the chord of the country as the education system plays a vital role in development of countries. Providing better education can help poor countries to get out of the vicious cycle of debt.

Overall, leaders of the developed nations play a crucial role in assisting developing countries in dealing with essential areas such as health, education and trade. Providing help can ensure a balanced world.
