Describe a place where you experienced extreme weather conditions.
You should say:
• Which place it is?
• When and with whom you went to that place?
• Why you went there?
• And explain how you felt about your journey?

Answer:
I have always loved exploring new places, as I believe that travelling is one of the best ways to experience life and learn how to overcome hindrances. One place that I went to and faced extreme weather was Rajasthan, which is a state in the country India. I visited that place last summer in 2025 with my family in the month of April. We realised later that it wasn’t a great decision, as we came across many difficulties that were caused by the weather. After reading Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, we started feeling extremely hot and humid. We were shocked. We noticed that there was a huge difference between the summer we experienced in our hometown and the summer we were about to experience in Rajasthan. However, fortunately we had air conditioners in our hotel rooms.
Me and my family wanted to visit the famous castles and witness the culture and traditions of Rajasthan. Along with the history of distinct forts made by kings centuries ago, we were very curious and excited about the spicy and rich food. So, my family decided to go on summer vacations. But it wasn’t a very pleasant experience, as small tasks such as walking and standing were made tough by the weather. We constantly felt tired and dehydrated, and above that, none of us could stop sweating, which was very irritating.
Overall, our journey to Rajasthan was quite exhausting. I believe it would have been wonderful if we had gone there in winters instead of summers.
