IELTS Writing TASK 2: Time management is the key to success

IELTS Writing TASK 2

Time management is the key to success.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Time is a precious resource that cannot be replenished once it is wasted. I firmly believe that it plays a significant role in achieving goals in one’s life.

To commence with, there are several benefits for managing time in life. One of the most prominent advantages of a well-structured schedule is that it considerably improves productivity and success. To elaborate this, it allows people to prioritise their tasks and finish them on time. Whenever individuals have their timetable or plan to accomplish their work, they can easily prioritise work as per their requirement or urgency of the work and allocate their time accordingly. For example, students who have a proper study plan can systematically complete their assignments on time and also do their revision as well. Therefore, time management is the backbone of a successful future.

Furthermore, another major merit is effective time management fosters work-life balance. This means when candidates postpone their work for tomorrow, that may lead to procrastination, and the task becomes a reason for stress. As that task is to be finished under immense pressure, it not only contributes negatively to people’s performance but also to their health. If people allocate their time mindfully or practically, they can concentrate better and devote their precious time to their family, friends, entertainment and social life. It will help to maintain work-life balance efficiently.

To recapitulate, managing time is crucial for success in both professional and personal life.
