You should say:

– what type of advertisement it is
– where you usually see it
– Why don’t you like it
and explain how it affects people

Answer – One type of advertisement that I find particularly unpleasant is intrusive pop-up advertising, which is commonly seen on mobile applications and various websites.

These advertisements typically appear unexpectedly while a user is engaged in an activity such as watching a video, reading an article, or playing a game. What makes them especially frustrating is their disruptive nature. They tend to interrupt the user experience without any prior warning, often occupying the entire screen and, in some cases, including loud audio which cannot be skipped immediately. Many of these advertisements are deliberately designed to be misleading. For instance, the close button is often minimised or strategically positioned to increase the likelihood of accidental clicks. Such advertisements are highly repetitive, which leads to irritation rather than engagement. Instead of capturing attention in a meaningful or creative way, they create a negative perception of both the product and the platform hosting them, which can discourage many users from continuing to use certain applications or websites.

Overall, I believe that advertisements should be informative, relevant, and respectful of the viewer’s time. Although I acknowledge the value of advertising in general, intrusive pop-up ads can significantly diminish the user experience.
