Sample Answer

In the name of globalisation and development, we have somehow managed to ruin our natural habitat by exploiting resources. As a result of this, the levels of pollution has increased drastically. Today, I would like to shed some light on one of the world’s most polluted cities, Delhi.

I went there few years back, when I was in my final year of graduation. My bosom friend, Riya who was then my roommate took me there to shop for her sister’s wedding. It was a three day stay, we booked a hotel in advance.

The thing which startled me the most was the air. The moment we reached there, the air was so much polluted that one could clearly make out the difference. The city had tall apartments, industries and high rise buildings which all came at the cost of natural environment. The air pollution is predominantly due to the smoke from the vehicles which comes as a result of burning petroleum or diesel. The expulsion of these harmful gases in the air from the factories or industries is what is responsible for the bad air. The levels of oxygen has decreased in the air whereas the rise in the carbon monoxide and other nitrogenous gases is particularly responsible for the severe health concerns like, breathing problems such as asthma, bronchitis and skin allergy and irritation followed by acute migrane. Initial few days I was sick, but then with consistent medication i was finally able to get back on my feet. It was only then, that I was finally able to go for shopping for the wedding.

Therefore, this was a place where there was a lot of pollution.

    • How you felt about it?
Sample Answer

During my childhood, I participated in a plethora of games, including, volleyball, hide-and-seek, long jump and many others. But here I want to discuss an exceptionally amazing game named kho kho. I greatly enjoyed this game. I used to play it with my  school  friends when I was a kid.

When I was younger, I used to call my companions to play on the field. Because they were more occupied with other games, I had to convince them at times. Then, at that point, we used to meet at a  nearby playground . we then used to divide everyone into two teams. The team was led by each individual.

We as a whole played it with incredible fervor and excitement. During this game, we spoke up loud and ran really fast in order to not get caught. We celebrated the victory of the winning team when one team won the game. No one felt miserable for the loss in the game, because everyone at the time wanted to see their friends’ faces light up. As a result, I enjoyed playing kho kho with my friends and felt happy again. When I now meet my those friends, we all recall fond childhood memories.

All things considered, I like it even now, my kin and my companions express no to me when I request that they play kho kho, because  now they all are busy with their daily hassles of life.

Therefore, this was a game I really enjoyed playing when i was young.

Q2. Do boys and girls play different games?

I do not think so because, it is more of an individual choice. Although, earlier it was believed that girls are only meant to play with the soft toys, and boys only play with toy cars. But now, this has changed. Children play whatever games they are interested into and there is not such any specifications to that.

Describe an unusual meal you had.

You should say:

    • What it was?
    • When you had it?
    • Why was it unusual?
Sample Answer

I consider that one of the finest ways to learn about global traditions is to sample a variety of cuisines. I eat a lot, therefore I enjoy trying new foods and introducing my tongue to new flavors. In addition to engaging in sports like scuba diving and rafting on my most recent trip to Goa, I learned about the region’s rich culture and the history of Portuguese culture. One restaurant in Goa is well known for its delectable food and excellent service. Prior to my visit, I had already made up my mind about what I was going to do, so I was eager to give it a try. I decided to try eating fish since I had never done it before. A nutrient-rich diet like seafood has a number of health advantages. Vitamins and minerals are abundant in fish. Sadly, the dish did not taste as good as it initially appeared to. I was absolutely ignorant of the fact that they contained various ingredients. Those who are not habitual to this may find these substances to be extremely peculiar. I ended up throwing up in the washroom moreover I may not give it a second chance in the future.
