Man is a highly social being, and we as people build up a web of relationships as we go. One such relation is friendship, wherein like-minded people come together, and make life better by adding joy in each other’s lives. Friends always make life better by celebrating each other’s joys, supporting in the sorrows, and helping in the times of our need.
I have a lot of good friends that I have come to be with, in this beautiful journey of life. I have helped them and they have done the same for me on numerous occasions. One of these friends, Manan, stands out in my memory and in my heart as well. A very amazing person to spend time with, he has always looked out for me. Actually, I met him after joining college, and soon we started sharing an apartment as well. He always understood my financial issues and acted accordingly. After a month, I decided to apply for a job to sustain my expenses.
I consulted Manan, and he urged me to apply in a few companies, in addition to supporting my decision. I applied for the jobs and got an interview call as well. After preparing for it, on the day of the interview, I went to him and asked him to lend me formal clothes for the interview. He was gracious enough to comply and gave me his best formal suit to wear. I was actually humbled at his gesture and thanked him profusely. I then gave the interview, and I was cleared for the job. It was a great help on Manan’s part, and he was happy when I credited him for this success.
