I hope you are doing well. It’s been long time since we met. Moreover, I have been busy during last days with my mid-term examinations.

As you know, our current residence is very far from my school. Therefore, my father had been searching for a new home close to my school, for a long time. This is to inform you that my father has recently purchased a new penthouse in the Dream-tech society. We will move into our new home next week. So, I would like to invite you for the house warming party to be scheduled on 7th may 2018.The party will start at 6 p.m. We are inviting all our relatives and friends.

It is a spacious 4 BHK apartment. The main attraction of this apartment is its roof garden and spacious balconies. So, we cannot only host small parties there but can also play and relax in the garden. Additionally, it would take only 10 minutes to reach school.

Since you are my childhood friend, you need to be present in the party. We will enjoy together. It would be fun to have you here.

How are you doing? Hope this letter finds you well. It’s been really long since we last met.

I’m excited to let you know that I’ve shifted to a new house, a fortnight back. Things have settled down and I’m planning to organize a house warming get-together this month end, preferably on the 28th. Since, it’s a long weekend, you can come on the 27th itself. This would be a great opportunity for us to spend some quality time together. We haven’t really been able to bond up since you moved to the suburbs for your job.

I can’t wait to tell you about the house, it’s just what I always dreamt of. The location is a little off the city centre, away from the maddening traffic and noise. The best part is that it’s a ground floor independent house which comes with a garden and a backyard. The garden has some lovely fruit trees, giving it a rustic appearance. What I really like about the place is that it brings the best of both the worlds. Not only do I get to enjoy the countryside calmness but also am able to avail good transport system and all other amenities of a city life. It’s very comfortable to reach the office in the mornings and do my grocery shopping during the weekends. My parents too have adjusted very well to the new place. Moreover, the house is spacious with three big bedrooms making it easy to accommodate our guests.

I received your letter few days back. Since I was busy with my exams, I could not write before. I hope this letter finds you in pink of your health. I am glad to know that you are planning for a vacation. In my opinion, Mussoorie is a beautiful place to visit on a budget. It is also known as Queen of the Hills.

Since my father loves hill stations, we often visit different hill stations once in a year. Last year we all went to Mussoorie during my summer vacations. Mussoorie is the nearest hill station to Dehradun. We started off early in the morning and directly went to the guest house. We could see the sky and the blue clouds above the mountain tops from the balconies of our guest house.

It was very cold there so we had to put on the pullovers to stay warm. In the evening, we spent some time at mall road and explored the market there. The mall road is located in the heart of the city and is also famous for shopping and its picturesque views. Then next day, we visited the nearby places like, George Everest and Kempty Falls.

It was a memorable trip as spending quality time with family is always a fun. So, I would strongly recommend Mussoorie as a great holiday destination. I hope you like my suggestion. Please do send me the photographs of your visit.
