We often buy gifts for others and then there are times, we gift ourselves. Things that we know that are important for us, we buy them for ourselves. It could be a camera, laptop, books or for that matter even a dress. This time we are looking at a cue card that talks about an item that you recently bought and are happy about it.
Talk about a thing that you recently bought and are happy about. You should say –
- what was it?
- why you bought it?
- how long have you been using it?
also, explain, why do you think others must also have it.
For a very long time, I wanted to learn the art of photography. As a kid, I would rejoice clicking pictures from my parent’s phone or for that matter any body’s phone or camera. It was recently that I bought for myself a DSLR to learn photography. It is a Nikon D5300, with two lenses. The 18-55 allows me to shoot photos at a closer distance while the 70-110 helps me by clicking far off photos.
Apart from my keen desire to master photography, I have been a blogger for quite a long time and being a blogger, it is very important for our content to be plagiarism free. Adding to this, a blog with only content often leaves the readers disappointed and gives a sense of a book with only text. Something, most people do not prefer to. So, once my content started sounding genuine, I wished for better photographs. This could have been possible only if I knew how to capture moments. Or else, my work had to depend on someone else.
It has been 8 months since I got the camera and have been using it extensively almost everywhere. From the solo trips that I have taken to my office parties, from the friends gatherings to our crazy fun nights. The camera has helped me in capturing the moments of life in a more beautiful way.
Owning a camera teaches an individual multitude of things. The most important of which I believe is how to see things differently. When one clicks different photographs of the same thing, he or she realizes the different sides of the same thing. Also, I believe one must learn as many skills as he or she can in their lifetime.
