Sample Answer

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the inferior quality of a mobile phone which I bought from your renowned store last week.

The first malfunction that I noticed in the phone was its short battery life. Its battery discharges within an hour of charging. Apart from that, the device becomes extremely hot when I charge it. I found another problem when I clicked some photos. Even though this phone has an eight mega pixel camera, the photos were terribly blurred. Initially, I thought my hand shook while taking the pictures. But, even after keeping the phone in a fixed position, the same problem persisted. You can imagine how unhappy I was to discover these technical faults in such an expensive model.

Naturally, I contacted the store to report the problem. Your representative said that this model was out of stock and I would have to wait for a week for replacement. Unfortunately, I did not receive any information about the new stock arrival in the last three weeks. When I called the representative, he was unable to give a sensible answer to me.

I am very disappointed with both the equipment and the service I have received. Therefore, I expect a full refund of 30,000 rupees as soon as possible.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Priya Chamoli

Write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to raise a concern about the problems I am facing at the job in your company. My name is Avi and you appointed me as a part time counselor three months back. The reason I am writing is to inform you about the two issues that the reception area is facing, which you are not aware of.

Firstly, the duty staff of night is not coming regularly, except me and Avan. For the few who do come there is no regularity and often sleep in the hotel rooms. Last week, a customer came and we had no rooms to give because the staff had taken hold of four rooms. The matter worsened when none of them replied when we tried reaching them.

Secondly, the food that is supposed for the customers is being eaten by the staff members. Even more, the quality of food has deteriorated leading to times when rotten food gets served to customers.

I hope you will look into this matter as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

Avi.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to notify you of my decision to leave Raster.

During my tenure of two years, I have enjoyed my work and learnt a great deal. When I joined the company, I began as a fresher and had little to zero knowledge about the corporate life, but after two years, not only the company has helped me grow in technical field but also allowed me to gain significant process knowledge.

It was always a pleasure to be part of the campaign management and planning team. Working under pressure has helped me make better decisions and remain focused no matter what issues come along. The atmosphere of the company is fantastic and every one will be missed.

However, I have got selected for the MBA program at Harvard University and it is a dream come true for me. It will therefore be not possible to work for the company.

I would like to thank you for providing me the guidance and support during the training and working period.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Anmol
