Sample Answer :

I remember myself as a very studious child back in school. One subject that I particularly liked the most was English that was taught in our school. We had this subject in our curriculum each year from primary school to high school and each year we used to have a new teacher teach us the subject. Even we had to read lots of English in university as it is considered the basic of all the other subjects.

I firmly recall all of my favourite teachers who build my love for the language ,I owe them for that. I feel extremely lucky to have had some amazing faculties who shared the same level of interest and love for those long stretches of plays and poetry.

My teachers would often tell us stories and read us poetry in fine tones and then calmly explain us what it implies. She would also relate certain similar life experiences to make the point clear and i would mention that it helped. Sometimes she used to take us to the auditorium and make us watch some old classic movies like breakfast club, Dial M for murder, etc. My foundation and interest grew more with each passing years and my teachers proved as a great objects for inspirations.

English itself is full of fascination and adventure if one is passionate for it. It is one of such subjects that anyone can possibly fall in love with if she starts understanding the underlying ideas and tries to feel it. English is a basic living necessity these days and is used all around us and the things that I learned from my School had helped me greatly throughout my life.

Shopping is a very popular hobby among girls. I personally love shopping too. I visited the mall on the weekend looking for some shoes. I fell in love with a pair of brown leather wedges and decided to buy them instantly. It bought it from Steve Maiden and it was a worthy deal.

I bought it for my birthday. The shoes went great along with the pink dress that I had specially bought for the occasion. The dress had a similar brown leather belt so they looked great together.

The shoes have a basic shade so it is worthy to match with lot of outfits that I have. I use it over my pair of rugged denims, dresses and several jumpsuits. The shoes lift me up and build a confidence in me. I personally love them. They are comfortable and steady. They keep my feet stable irrespective of the high heel and provides support to the aching back. The cloth is amazing and the leather is of a fine source.

I was super excited to show them to my mom. She too liked them and appreciated my choice. She examined the quality and was very satisfied. I further told her that I got the last piece for a very discounted rate. She was pretty amazed hearing the price that I paid for the shoes. I look forward to shopping from the same store again. I’m really happy about my purchase.

The advent of mobile phone is a boon to our society. It has not only brought world closer but also has made technology available to a common man. Exchange of messages has become so easy that within no time one can convey information in the form of texts, pictures or videos.
Although, there are so many kinds of mobile sets available due to continuous up gradation of models and software, keeping my first phone with me as a remembrance really makes me feel happy. I still have my first phone which is Nokia 1100. I purchased it from Gaffar market in New Delhi. Though it is fifteen years old, I am still very possessive about it .I had purchased it out of my pocket money and I got it for Rs 5000. It’s a grey colored, small and trendy set. The phone has got basic features without a touch screen and the internet facility. I used it to make calls while on move and be in touch with my family and friends.
It is still functional and I sometimes use it, especially when I am travelling. It’s really convenient with an excellent battery backup and I need not care of recharging it time and again. The ring tones are of vintage style, which make me feel nostalgic and remind me of my young days. Its flash light is so powerful that there is no requirement of a torch in my house. The best part of this set is its simple operation and management. The set is so strong and sturdy that even if it falls down one need not worry about its malfunctioning. Moreover, even if there are some breakages the spares are very cheap.
It’s saddening that the set is losing its charm as there are so many new smart phones available. Nowadays, its spares are not available in open market and I have to order to the Nokia company for the replacement. Irrespective of this, I adore my Nokia 1100 and do not want to part away from it.

I’m a gadget freak and I personally enjoy buying and collecting several pieces of modern technology and electronic gadgets that I often use and amongst all of them, I would like to talk about my laptop. I own a MacBook Air which is manufactured by Apple Inc. The laptop has an amazing configuration and it supports most of the latest software. It came with its upgraded IOS operating system and it was a bit expensive for me to buy but I can say that it was definitely worth it. I bought it approximately a year ago when I replaced my old Dell laptop with this new one.

It is used for a variety of official purposes as well as personal use. I use the internet to find information for several projects, communicate with my friends, listen to music using this laptop. I sometimes prepare some documents and play games in it as well. This laptop serves as a source of entertainment too. In fact, I use my laptop more frequently than any other electronic device I have including my mobile.

I’ve been using laptop for more than 10 years now. Since the technology changes with every passing day and the use of latest software which demands faster performances, we need to upgrade our computers and laptops very regularly to ensure good performance, I replaced my old laptop with this new one for the same reason.

As I have previously mentioned, I use this laptop for a list of reasons like sorting and writing documents, to keep in contact with my friends, maintain my blogs, watch movies, listen to music and for many other important purposes. It has definitely become an unavoidable technology for me that I use almost every day.

Q1. How can technology make our life easier?
Ans Technology has made a very powerful impact in our lives in many ways and so far technological advancement has made our life easier than ever. The internet has contributed to this to a large extent. It has also made the day to day communication faster and easier. Communication and shopping have improved as well.

Technology has made it possible to cure diseases that were incurable in the past. It has improved the way we travel, cook, play, make a relationship, spend our leisure time. The space exploration has enhanced our perspective of life and universe while we can better fight the natural disasters with the help of technology. Technology has turned out as a blessing to us.

Q2. What are some greatest inventions you know about?
Ans There are many remarkable and creative inventions that has changed our lives and humankind. According to me, the cars and light bulb are two of the most important things that were ever invented. The first device helps people commute whenever they want and wherever they are and the second has made working in dark places and at night feasible. I should probably mention the wheel, printing press, paper, Penicillin, Integrated Circuit and camera are also necessarily important.

Q3. Can you do without your mobile phone?
Ans The answer to this is a straight cut no. Due to the fact that it’s multifunctional, it constitutes an integral part of my life. I use it constantly every day to make calls and talk to my friends and family, send messages, access the internet, take pictures, surf for information, listen to music. I think I’ll have a very difficult time even if I lose it for a while. Its such a nightmare.
